We happen to build ticketing systems to do just that.\nAgainst this backdrop we now find Transit Authorities looking for Next Generation Ticketing systems that take all of the above into consideration and provide solutions that:\nConform and work alongside existing traditional transport operators and mean of travel.\nProvide transit payment solutions that are built on an Open Payment\nProvide digital services.\nReal time information for stakeholders to provide services\nRoles & responsibilities\nThe Systems Engineer Manager is responsible for delivering systems solutions for complex highstakes projects in Egypt. The role requires strong ability to understand customer and system requirements as well as provide technical support for Automated Fare Collection systems. Working closely with the System Engineering Manager and the Head of Engineering the SEM oversees all software development activities ensuring solutions are defined implemented and delivered within the agreed scope budget and timeline. The position requires solid knowledge of weboriented architectures including both web and mobile applications and is based at the Hitachi office in Cairo.\nThe Systems Engineer Manager responsibilities are as follows he/she must:\nDeliver software solutions that meet budget schedule and Customer expectation\nProvide technical & software development leadership to the software development team;\nEnsures global consistency of the software development process practices and tools;\nLead a team in performing all software development activities ensuring software development activity operates within constraints provided by approved architecture and design policy;\nManage Requirements according to the System Specification: Traceability Compliance\nDefine and solve problems in a persistent and systematic fashion taking an engineering lead on defect management in accordance with engineering processes and be hands-on with troubleshooting exercises when required;\nDefines the Sw development cycle in consistency with that of upper/same level elements (dependences co-engineering activities).\nTailors the Sw Engineering Environment (process practices and tools) according to Country/Company and projects requirements.\nParticipates in the specification of the functions and interfaces of products to be developed.\nParticipates in the definition of the architecture and the allocation of functions to the components for which they have primary responsibility\nPerforms the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of the System and the continuous improvement of the source code and the associated tests\nEnsure software development and integration\nAlso contribute to the improvement of the source code (refactoring and qualimetry) as well as the implementation of automatic tests\nWork experience & qualification requirements\nA bachelors level degree in a computer science or relevant field\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in Deployment of complex and critical System\nYou have strong skills in: Agile Methodology / SCRUM\nSoftware coding Skills:\nJAVA/Spring REACT\nC#/C XML XSLT Web Services Object oriented methodology\nLinux Ubunto\nOS Windows / IDE Visual Studio\nDatabase Skills: SQL Server 2008 R2 / SQL Server 2012/ SQL Server 2016\nDatabase development (Stored Procedures SQL request)\nSpecific Tools: ClearCase/GIT TFS (defects management) Azure DevOPs\nTools practice like DOORS POLARION or REQTIFY\nFluent in English.
