Join us now at Hitachi Rail Austria and help shape the future of digital interlocking solutions.\nAs part of the route control product development team, you are responsible for ensuring a high quality and secure Cloud platform for our next generation digital interlocking system. Together with our Tester, DevOps and Security experts you are shaping the Test Strategy, Design, Execution with automation-first leveraging state-of the-art cloud technologies and testing tools.\nYOUR CHALLENGE\nDevelop and execute detailed test cases, and test scripts based on system requirements and design specifications.\nReporting of found bugs in a ticket system and performing first level analysis.\nDevelop and maintain testing documentation, including test specifications and test reports.\nTest automation in a test automation tool.\nCollaboration with other teams (development, data preparation)\nYOUR PROFILE\nTechnical education, preferably a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline\nMinimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience\nExperience in industrial sectors such as automotive, telecommunications, or process control. Knowledge of safety-critical systems, especially railway signaling systems, is considered an advantage\nAbility to work with virtual machines and cloud-based test environments to support system integration, verification, and testing activities\nExperience with test automation frameworks\nExperience in AI-based tools to support work tasks (Copilot)\nBasic programming skills (e.g., Python, Java)\nLinux knowledge and basic bash scripting skills.\nEnthusiasm for working in an agile team environment\nGood knowledge of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices\nWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods\nAbility and willingness to work in a laboratory environment when required\nISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification is considered an advantage\nFluent in English and a good command of German\nWE OFFER\nThe opportunity to work on innovative and future-oriented railway technologies\nAn international and collaborative engineering environment\nExciting technical challenges with real-world impact\nFlexible working arrangements and a supportive team culture\nBENEFITS\nThe salary for this position starts at € 65.000 gross p.a.
