You will report to the R&D Team Manager.\nHow You'll Make an Impact:\nTo develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met.\nTo test software features and systems to determine success in achieving the intended designs and outcomes.\nTo design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.\nTo implement and monitor test automation scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product and identify and remedy defects within the production process.\nTo perform API testing and API automation using Postman and Karate Framework.\nTo create and maintain test cases, manual test execution, regression suites, and defect tracking using Jira and Zephyr Scale.\nRecommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are upheld. Compile and analyze statistical data.\nTo ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process and draft quality assurance policies and procedures.\nInvestigate customer complaints and product issues.\nEnsure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.\nResponsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.\nLiving Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.\nYour Background:\nRequired bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field with 5 to 8 years experience in automation of test scenarios. Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nStrong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications, analytical and problem-solving skills.\nHands On Experience in Software - Playwright Automation / JavaScript / TypeScript / VS Code / Git / Test Planning / Test Cases / Manual Test Execution / Jira / Zephyr Scale / Postman / Karate Framework / API Automation.\nExpert Knowledge of programming language JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python.
