This platform will support critical business capabilities across pricing, budgeting, financial management, and related processes.\nThis is a hands-on role for a meticulous, business-focused BA who can translate business needs into clear requirements and help drive solutions from concept through delivery. The successful candidate will work directly in the system, gather requirements, support QA and testing, clear blockersto keep development, builds, and releases moving, and flex into project management responsibilities as needed - including driving test cycles, tracking timelines, and coordinating dependencies.\nThe platform will continue to evolve, but the mandate is clear: deliver a pricing and financial management platform that elevates the business of building. Reporting to Product Leadership, this role will partner closely with business stakeholders, field users, Product, Engineering, and System Integrator partners to translate high-value business problems into actionable requirements, and to deliver practical, intuitive solutions through rapid, iterative Agile cycles.\nBecause HITT builds software for builders, everything this role delivers must earn adoption in high-velocity, decentralized field environments-on jobsites, in trailers, and in offices-by users of many backgrounds. The specific componentsand feature-setswill evolve as HITT’s business and technology evolve; this role’s charge is durable: understand the business problem deeply, translate it clearly, and help the team keep shipping and raising the standard for what the platform can do.\nResponsibilities\nDiscovery & Requirements\nLead requirements-gathering sessions, including workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs.\n\nTranslate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for the delivery team.\n\nPartner with stakeholders to understand current-state (\"as-is\") processes, identify gaps, and define future-state (\"to-be\") solutions.\n\nPerform fit-gap analysis against existing platform functionality and recommend build-vs.-configuration approaches and process/system improvements.\n\nIdentify risks, dependencies, and blockers, and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.\n\nEnsure requirements are clearly documented, understood, and communicated across business and technology teams.\n\nTesting& Release Management\nDevelop test scenarios and scripts; support system, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).\n\nLead or coordinate UAT activities and ensure solutions meet defined business requirements.\n\nTriage and document defects, partner with technology teams on resolution, and validate fixes.\n\nSupport data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and migration activities as needed.\n\nSupport release planning, cutover, implementation, and post-go-live (hypercare) activities.\n\nTrack timelines, milestones, dependencies, and action items across multiple delivery teams.\n\nCoordinate requirements gathering, UAT, and timelines across multiple concurrent System Integrator (SI) delivery partners, managing handoffs and dependencies between teams.\n\nHelp clear blockers and keep development and release activities moving forward.\n\nStakeholder Engagement & Ongoing Optimization\nBuild strong relationships with business stakeholders and end users, including frontline and field teams.\n\nSpend time understanding how work is performed in practice, andtranslate those insights into better system solutions.\n\nMaintain clear, current process documentation, functional requirements, training materials, and standard operating procedures.\n\nCommunicate status, risks, decisions, and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nSupport user training and adoption efforts, and incorporate user feedback into the product backlog.\n\nMonitor system usage and user feedback to identify opportunities to improve system functionality, business processes, and user experience.\n\nContribute to product team standards, processes, and best practices for business analysis and delivery.\n\nStay current on platform capabilities, releases, and relevant industry practices.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience considered.\n\n5+ years of Business Analyst experiencesupporting enterprise software, technology, or business transformation initiatives.\n\nStrong experience gathering and translating business requirements into actionable solutions and supporting the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.\n\nExperience with QA/UAT, testing, defect resolution, and implementation.\n\nStrong business process analysis, stakeholder management, and communication skills.\n\nHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across business and technology teams in an Agile or hybrid environment.\n\nConstruction management or other project-based/field-oriented industry experience preferred.\n\nIn accordance with Virginia Senate Bill 215 (SB 215), the base salary range for this position is:\n$100,000.00 - $150,000.00\nCompensation in other cities and states may vary.
