No matter your background, education, or career path, if you share our vision to create extraordinary experiences, you belong at HITT.\nCommercial Construction Project ExecutiveJob Description:\nThe Project Executive role is to effectively manage both small and large scale projects from discovery and design to development and implementation. A Project Executive is responsible for all of the duties performed by the Project Manager as well as the following:\nResponsibilities\nMaintains adherence to HITT’s standards of safety\n\nEnsures the all job processes are followed in accordance with HITT policies\n\nNegotiates terms and conditions of contracts with clients\n\nMonitors the progress of each project through updated schedules\n\nEnsures that the project Quality Control Plan is followed\n\nAssists that project staff in resolving scope problems with subcontractors\n\nEnsures proper assignment and evaluation of field personnel both within the project team and throughout the company\n\nIdentifies and negotiates time extensions where justified and allowed\n\nAcquires new work as well as maintaining existing clients\n\nMaintains positive relationships with the subcontractor community\n\nEnsures timely completion of closeout process\n\nLeads the preconstruction and RFP package effort with the help of the Preconstruction Department and/or other company resources\n\nDelegates responsibility when necessary to ensure that the project/tasks run smoothly\n\nQualifications\n10+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor\n\nPrior healthcare construction project experience required\n\nA four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.\n\nIn lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.\n\nPrevious experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects and/or simultaneously\n\nAbility to master sector/project-specific software systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite (ex. Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.), ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards\n\nMastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings\n\nAbility to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results\n\nKnowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends\n\nMust demonstrate a strong ability to:\n\nCarry oneself as a leader and knowledge holder of the project while facilitating the decision-making process\n\nDemonstrate a positive attitude and passion for construction and our industry\n\nCommunicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, with a strong ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner\n\nTake initiative and seek responsibility\n\nDemonstrate integrity consistent with The HITT Way and HITT’s core values\n\nSeek continuous improvement of knowledge and abilities, internal focus on self-improvement\n\nRecognize quality and implement contractual and HITT quality standards\n\nAdapt and exercise flexibility with the ever-changing world of technology, design, means and methods\n\nCollaborate with people of various backgrounds and styles\n\nFoster positive relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors and vendors\n\nApproach all situations with a customer service oriented attitude\n\nCoach, train and educate assistant level operations team members\n\nSustain existing client relationships and develop new client relationships\n\nUnderstand and know what tasks are more important than others; discern what needs to be solved immediately and what can wait; ability to multi-task effectively\n\nExhibit respectfulness by being punctual, engaged/focused, and respectful of others\n\nIn accordance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, section RCW 49.58.110, the base salary range for this position is:\n$148,000.00 - $198,000.00Compensation in other cities and states may vary.
