You will work\nalongside Superintendents, Project Engineers, Project Managers, trade partners, and the project VC team to\nconnect digital information with daily field execution.\nThis position leads the project's reality capture and installation tracking programs while supporting the broader\nfield-enablement workflow. The objective is not simply to collect data or maintain models; it is to turn current field\ninformation into timely, practical actions that improve production, quality, coordination, and turnover.\nPosition Overview\nServing as the project-embedded Virtual Construction field-enablement lead, the Senior Associate establishes and\nmanages the workflows that connect planned work, coordinated information, actual field conditions, and\ninstallation status. The role provides field leadership with a reliable view of what is ready, installed, verified,\nincomplete, or at risk.\nThe Senior Associate directly oversees reality capture and installation tracking and coordinates their use across\nlook-ahead planning, constructability, QA/QC, issue resolution, progress reporting, as-built documentation, and\nturnover. This role complements the project's BIM coordination team and does not replace trade responsibility for\nmeans, methods, quality, or contractual deliverables.\nWork Location: Full-time, on-site at an active HITT project Assignment Type: Project-dedicated\nCore Responsibilities\nReality Capture Program Leadership\nDevelop and manage the project reality capture plan, including objectives, coverage, cadence, responsibilities,\nnaming standards, data storage, and required outputs.\nCoordinate and execute approved capture methods, which may include terrestrial laser scanning, mobile or SLAM\nscanning, 360-degree imagery, photogrammetry, and drone capture.\nTranslate captured conditions into usable information for field planning, installation verification, QA/QC, issue\nresolution, progress documentation, and turnover.\nManage scan registration, model alignment, data quality, access, and documentation so information remains\ncurrent, traceable, and practical for project teams.\nCoordinate capture timing with field leadership so work is documented before concealment and at other project defined miles\nInstallation and Production Tracking\nEstablish and maintain installation tracking by area, system, trade, or work package using agreed status definitions\nand update frequencies.\nIntegrate field observations, reality capture, model information, trade updates, and project controls data into a\nconsistent view of installed, verified, deficient, and remaining work.\nCompare planned work with actual installation and communicate variances, blocked work, downstream impacts, and\nemerging constraints to field leadership.\nSupport look-ahead planning, production discussions, turnover readiness, and recovery planning with visual,\nlocation-based reporting.\nConfirm that progress reporting methods are transparent, repeatable, and aligned with project controls; do not treat\ncaptured imagery alone as verified percent complete.\nField-Ready Information and Constraint Removal\nTranslate coordinated model information into practical field deliverables such as installation views, lift drawings,\ndimensioned details, logistics views, and work-package exhibits.\nSupport constructability reviews and identify access, clearance, tolerance, penetration, embed, sequencing, and\ninstallation constraints before they affect field production.\nConnect field questions and observed conditions to the appropriate coordination, design clarification, RFI, or issueresolution workflow.\nMaintain clear revision and status controls so field teams can identify the current information governing the work.\nPlanning, Sequencing, and Work Packaging\nSupport model-based logistics, phasing, installation sequencing, temporary conditions, and planning for complex or\nconstrained work areas.\nPartner with field leadership and trade partners to organize model information around upcoming work, project\nmilestones, and installation priorities.\nUse current field conditions and installation status to inform make-ready planning and highlight constraints before\nplanned starts.\nDevelop focused visualizations and 4D studies when they materially improve planning, communication, or decisionmaking.\nField Technology and Team Integration\nServe as the primary on-site point of contact for VC field-enablement workflows and maintain daily alignment with\nSuperintendents, Project Engineers, Project Managers, trade partners, and the project VC team.\nPromote practical field access to current models, capture data, installation status, and issue information through\napproved project platforms and mobile tools.\nTrain project team members on the intended use, limitations, and responsibilities associated with reality capture,\nmodel-based deliverables, and tracking workflows.\nMeasure adoption and workflow effectiveness and recommend improvements based on field feedback and project\nresults.\nLeadership and Continuous Improvement\nMaintain HITT quality standards for field-enablement deliverables, data management, and reporting.\nMentor junior team members and support the development of consistent VC field practices.\nDocument lessons learned, repeatable processes, and measurable outcomes that can improve future projects.\nRequired Qualifications\n3-6 years of experience in commercial construction, including 2+ years of BIM/VDC or construction-technology\nexperience.\nDemonstrated experience working directly with Superintendents, Project Engineers, Project Managers, and trade\npartners in an active jobsite environment.\nWorking knowledge of commercial construction means and methods, field sequencing, work packaging, quality\ncontrol, and turnover.\nExperience managing reality capture workflows and converting captured conditions into actionable project\ninformation.\nExperience developing or maintaining location-based installation or progress-tracking workflows.\nProficiency with relevant coordination, model review, reality capture, and field collaboration platforms.\nStrong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in practical\nfield terms.\nAbility to organize multiple data sources, maintain reliable status controls, and follow through on issues to\nresolution.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience in a project-dedicated or field-embedded VC role.\nExperience with laser scanning, mobile scanning, 360-degree documentation, photogrammetry, drones, and scan-tomodel comparison.\nExperience with Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and reality capture processing or analysis\nplatforms.\nExperience integrating installation tracking with look-ahead planning, project controls, QA/QC, or turnover\nworkflows.\nExperience with robotic layout, prefabrication support, 4D planning, or model-based work packaging.\nExperience supporting large-scale or technically complex projects such as data centers, healthcare, aviation, or\nadvanced manufacturing.\nHITT Contracting is an equal opportunity employer.
