The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records. As an Accountant, you will manage day-to-day financial transactions, oversee accounts, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintain Financial Records: Record and manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, compliance, payroll, and bank reconciliations.\n\nPrepare Financial Reports: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.\n\nTax Preparation: Be responsible for the preparation of tax returns and maintain tax records.\n\nSpearhead Audits: Provide schedules, documentation and reports for external audits, as needed.\n\nCompliance: Support in compliance matters in relation to the Insurance Commission and other regulatory bodies.\n\nManage Accounts: Oversee the company’s general ledger and ensure all financial data is accurately posted.\n\nDocument Payroll: Ensure complete documentation of employee salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions in a timely manner.\n\nReconcile Accounts: Reconcile bank statements, other assets, and card transactions regularly to ensure accounts are accurate and up-to-date.\n\nMonitor Expenses: Assist with tracking of company expenses and ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.\n\nCommunication: Collaborate with other departments and senior management to resolve any financial discrepancies.\n\nQualifications:\nProven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.\n\nStrong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).\n\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.\n\nIn-depth understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations.\n\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.\n\nA degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.\n\nMust be willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig for 2x a week\n\nCPA is a plus\n\nPreferred Skills:\nKnowledge of payroll systems and tax preparation.\n\nFamiliarity with basic financial analysis and budgeting.\n\nExperience with QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms.\n\nJoin our team as we revolutionalize healthcare in the Philippines-and beyond!\nDay 1 benefits for full-time employees - because we practice what we preach!
