Come and help us build it.\nAbout the Role\nThe Vehicle Integration Technician builds, installs, tests, and repairs the hardware used to retrofit industrial vehicles with Hive autonomy systems.\nThe technician works closely with integration engineers and helps turn first-of-kind engineering designs into safe, repeatable installations.\nResponsibilities\nAssemble wiring harnesses, electrical cabinets, cables, and connector systems.\n\nInstall sensors, compute hardware, controllers, actuators, brackets, and wiring on vehicles.\n\nPerform crimping, connector assembly, soldering, wiring, labeling, and mechanical installation.\n\nRead and follow electrical schematics, harness drawings, BOMs, and installation procedures.\n\nPerform continuity, insulation, voltage, power, CAN connectivity, and functional checks.\n\nSupport machine bring-up, commissioning, debugging, and acceptance testing.\n\nTroubleshoot installation problems and assist engineers with root-cause analysis.\n\nPerform field repairs, engineering changes, and electrical or mechanical rework.\n\nDocument build issues and provide feedback to improve Vehicle Adapter Kits.\n\nMaintain workshop tools, calibrated equipment, inventory, and build records.\n\nFollow electrical, mechanical, customer-site, and lockout/tagout safety procedures.\n\nQualifications\nExperience with automotive, industrial equipment, robotics, heavy machinery, or similar systems.\n\nStrong wiring harness assembly, crimping, connector, and troubleshooting skills.\n\nAbility to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.\n\nExperience using multimeters, power supplies, hand tools, and standard workshop equipment.\n\nBasic understanding of CAN wiring and vehicle electrical systems.\n\nStrong attention to detail and workmanship.\n\nAbility to work safely and independently in workshop and field environments.\n\nWillingness to travel regularly and support installations at customer
