We’re passionate about driving innovation and redefining the future of delivery.\nRole Overview\nAs the Night Operations Manager, you oversee the under-the-roof activity during the night, with full accountability for inbound processing, scanning, sorting accuracy, and pre set-off readiness.\nWhile there are no on-the-road drivers during this shift, the role is critical in ensuring a smooth morning set-off by ensuring a well-prepared depot. You lead supervisor and handler teams during night hours, maintain safety and standards, manage real-time escalations, and ensure the depot runs smoothly from first inbound activity through to start of set-off.\nThis is an on-site role embedded in the day-to-day operations. The shifts for this role are a 4 days on, 3 days off shift pattern which will require you to work one day on the weekend. Our Ops Run team is organised into roles of different levels: this is a level 5 role reporting into the site leader.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nLead shift during rotation - managing Shift Managers, Coordinators - to meet our operational SLAs.\n\nReceive handover from Day team, deliver strong handover to Day Manager & GM and explain any deviation between actual and target performance.\n\nOversee night-shift staffing and lead the team to ensure parcels are accurately processed, sorted, and tracked as efficiently as possible. Additionally, you will resolve any exceptions or escalations and set up the warehouse floor for a seamless morning handoff.\n\nLead & inspire, & develop and performance manage, team on the shift rotation.\n\nDrives continuous improvement initiatives & Develop standards and operating procedures.\n\nMaintain safety, standards, and productivity discipline.\n\nWhat you’ll be accountable for\nAccountable for all in-depot night activities including people (labour pool, engagement, leadership succession planning), safety (auditing and near miss/incident reporting), quality (SLA, set-off/on-time dispatch), and cost (labour planning D+1/W+1/TPH).\n\nWhat we’re looking for\n4-6 years’ experience leading fast-paced Nightshifts / last-mile operations.\n\nStrong understanding of processing SLAs, routing cut-offs.\n\nHands-on shift leadership with ability to manage 30-100+ staff via supervisors. Ability to lead and coach team.\n\nHigh urgency, strong communication, strong escalation habits.\n\nComfortable solving real-time operational pressure during peak windows.\n\nAble to work constructively cross-functionally.\n\nHow we reward our team\nCompetitive market-related salary.
