With our customer base expanding rapidly and processing over 5 million emails daily for thousands of active users, you will be at the forefront of creating and enhancing the user experience. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of highly skilled engineers while providing critical technical direction to our front-end development efforts. You will also have the exciting opportunity to tackle intricate technical challenges, including optimizing our architecture to handle the surging email volume and establishing a framework to monitor and enhance the performance of our front-end systems.\nKey Responsibilities\n What you will do?\nBuilding and maintaining interactive and responsive frontend systems across various form factors. You will own all aspects of front-end development from coding to deploying.\nUnderstand, follow and improve Hiver's standards for the software development life cycle \nBuilding next-generation web applications with high reusability. \nWork closely with product and tech team to deliver efficient, maintainable and unit tested software\nProactively identifies problems with requirements (lack of clarity, inconsistencies, technical limitations) for their own work and team work, and communicates these issues early to help course-correct\nCollaborate with product & business teams to understand customer journey and come up with solutions that help Hiver grow\nContribute to the architecture and design of new and existing systems\nHelping defining and improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes\nCollaborating closely with designers and other stakeholders to build dynamic and compelling user experiences while embracing emerging standards\nKey Requirements\n What we’re looking for?\n5 - 8 years of hands-on experience building frontend systems.\nProficiency in Web Fundamentals - HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript. Experience with modern frameworks like Vue JS is a must have. Experience with SASS / TailwindCSS / Material UI (or similar modern CSS solutions / frameworks) is required. React.js is good to have\nSound knowledge of design patterns and best practices for writing clean, linted, maintainable and reusable code\nSolid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.\nStrong knowhow and experience with frontend tooling and best deployment practices is required.\nAn architect's mindset - we want a fast time to market but without undermining long term prospects. You will have to continuously assess the various trade-offs when considering long term vs short term benefits / drawbacks and make informed choices about the optimal approach.\nStrong analytical and debugging skills - you should be able to troubleshoot and solve issues in a timely manner.\nResponsible for designing and conducting a high-quality code-review process and maintaining highly performant, testable code with following strong software design patterns.\nBreaking down complex problems into small tasks and PRs to deliver value safely and incrementally.\nYou will be actively reviewing approaches created by the tech team and helping them to find the optimal solutions to the problems.\nGood communication skills - you should have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
