This position places an emphasis on reliability and attentiveness, as maintaining both a truck log and the trucks themselves are daily responsibilities that come along with the position.\nWhy work for H&K Group, Inc.?\nCompetitive salary commensurate with experience\n100% Company-paid Health Benefits\n401(k) Savings and Investment Plan\nTuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programs\nAdditional training opportunities including on the job, online through the H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and more\nResponsibilities\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPerform all work adhering to MSHA and H&K Safety policies\nDrives truck to destination\nPrepares receipts for load pick up\nMaintains truck log according to state and federal regulations and company policy\nMaintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions\nLoads and unloads truck\nInspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water\nPerforms daily pre and post trip of vehicle\nTarps all loads when public roadway travel is necessary\nTrims all loads prior to tarping when necessary\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nRequired Skills, Education, and Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution\nClass A CDL with 1 year of commercial driving experience OR Class B CDL with 1 year of triaxle driving experience\nValid Medical Card\nClean driving record\nCustomer Service and Teamwork\nStrong Verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed\nAbility to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)\nPreferred Skills, Education, and Experience\n3 years of commercial driving experienceStrong preference for 3 years of triaxle driving experience\n\nHazmat and Tanker Endorsement\nTWIC card preferred with CDL class A\nExperience working in heavy civil construction, road construction, or quarries\nMSHA, OSHA or other relevant safety certifications\nPhysical Demands\nFrequently required toSit\nUse hands to finger, handle, or feel\nReach with hands and arms\n\nFrequently required to talk or hear\nOccasionally required toClimb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl\nLift and/or move up to 50 pounds\n\nWork Environment\nRegularly exposed to outside weather conditions\nFrequently exposed to vibration\nOccasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts\nNoise level is usually loud\nH&K Group, Inc.’s (H&K’s) Landis C.
