The objective is an efficient, scalable digital operating environment that improves productivity, cost control, data accuracy, visibility and profitability.\nKey Roles and Responsibilities\n1. Strategic Project Planning and Management\nDevelop, lead and execute the digital transformation strategy, implementation roadmap, project plans, budgets and timelines.\nEnsure digitalisation, automation and AI initiatives and solutions align with business objectives and meet operational requirements.\nLead & manage projects from requirements gathering and vendor selection through implementation, testing and handover.\nMonitor milestones, risks, costs and deliverables; establish KPIs and measure productivity improvements and return on investment.\nEvaluate & oversee theCompany's overall IT systems and technology environment, ensuring that infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, technical support and ongoing technology investments effectively support business operations and digital transformation objectives and identify areas for improvement and recommend system enhancements\n2. Implementation Continuity and SI Engagement\nEnsure approved requirement and decisions are incorporated into implementation, with proper documentation of approvals and changes.\nManage software vendors, consultants and System Integrators (SIs), including tender specifications, proposal evaluation and performance monitoring.\nEstablish and monitor vendor performance standards, service-level agreements, implementation deliverables, technical support arrangements and contractual obligations to ensure timely delivery and effective ongoing support.\nCoordinate internal teams indesign, testing, data migration and issue resolution while holding SIs accountable for contracted technical deliverables.\nPrepare and manage annual IT operating and capital expenditure budgets and identify opportunities to optimise IT expenditure without compromising service quality or security\n3. Business Process Re-engineering\nReview processes across departments to identify inefficiencies, duplication and opportunities for improvement.\nRedesign and standardise workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy and internal controls.\nDevelop automated reporting and data integration solutions.\nDevelop integrated processes for quotations, rental, inventory, warehouse, logistics, erection/dismantling, manpower, project costing, finance and HR.\nIdentify AI, automation and analytics opportunities for forecasting, trend analysis; establish standard operating procedures and performance indicators.\nEstablish measurable operational KPIs and monitor improvements in inventory accuracy, equipment utilisation, manpower productivity, rental billing efficiency, project costingand overall operational performance\n4. Digital Systems Implementation\nLead and ensure successful implementation, enhancement and integration of SAP, ERP, other operational systems, AI and automation initiatives\nDefine & validate system integration requirements across sales, rental, inventory, warehouse, projects, manpower, finance and HR to ensure solutions meet operational and business needs\nEstablish and enforce data management standards ensuring successful data cleansing, migration, validationand reconciliation to maintain accurate, consistent and reliable information across integrated systems\nDrive and manage system configuration, customisation, API integration, data migration and testing, ensuring technical deliverables meet approved requirements, quality standards and project timelines\nIdentify, evaluate and drive the implementation of suitable AI applications, workflow automation, management dashboards and business intelligence solutions that deliver measurable operational improvements\nLead and manage user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, go-live readiness and system stabilisation, ensuring all critical issues are resolved and systems are ready for operational use\nEnsure successful integration and data synchronisation between operational, inventory, rental, project management, finance and HR systems, minimising duplicate data entry and improving the accuracy and availability of management information\nOversee post-implementation system performance, user adoption, issue resolution and continuous improvement to ensure the sustained effectiveness and reliability of implemented solutions.\n5. Stakeholder and Change Management \nWork closely with Directors,Department Heads, employees, vendors and consultants.\nTranslate business requirements into practical technical solutions and communicate plans clearly.\nLead engagement, training and change management to support adoption and manage resistance.\nProvide regular progress reports, risks and recommendations to Management.\n6. Governance, Assurance and Compliance\nDevelop and implement IT policies, governance frameworks, standards and internal controls, approval procedures, documentation standards to ensure effective, secure and efficientIT operations.\nMonitor risks, implementation quality, vendor performance and compliance with specifications.\nEnsure appropriate cybersecurity, data protection, access controls, backups and business continuity arrangements.\nMaintain disaster recovery, backup and IT business continuity plans.\nManage IT assets, software licences and technology lifecycles.\nEnsure relevant compliance withSingapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and applicable requirements.\nVerify system readiness, data integrity and UAT completion before recommending acceptance; conduct post-implementation reviews.\n\nJob Requirements\nEducational Qualifications \nBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Information Systems or related discipline.\nSAP, ERP implementation or business process management certifications advantageous.\nProfessional Experience\nMinimum 8 years of relevant experience in digital transformation, ERP implementation, IT project management or systems integration.\nProven track record in managing successful digital transformation, cross-functional technology projects or major company-wide systems integration project\nExperience in process re-engineering, data migration, UAT, change management and cross-functional vendor/SI management.\nPractical experience with AI, automation, business intelligence and data analytics\nStrong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, networks, cybersecurity, backup and disaster recovery.\nExperience managing IT projects, technology vendors, contracts and budgets\nExperience integrating inventory, sales, rental, warehouse, project management, finance and HR systems \nConstruction, scaffolding, equipment rental, engineering, logistics or manufacturing experience a distinct advantage.\nTechnical Knowledge and Competencies\nStrong understanding of ERP architecture, APIs, databases, data management and system integration.\nAbility to analyse complex workflows and translate business needs into system requirements.\nStrong project planning, budgeting, negotiation, problem-solving, leadership and stakeholder
