You steer, lead and manage the area and store teams in line with & Other Stories’ values, standards, policies and procedures together with your area team to achieve your goals. This role will be responsible for stores in: FR / PL / ES / LU / IT / BE / LV.\nWhat you will do:\nWork with the area manager/store managers to create annual and quarterly sales budgets, utilising historical data, known events and benchmarking. \nMonitor, analyse, and benchmark weekly/daily sales plans and results for each store.\nWork in partnership with each store manager to ensure an effective schedule is in place to guarantee a high level of customer service.\nWork with selling reports, budgets and other available tools to make business decisions regarding allocations and stock levels.\nPerform a monthly review of all variable costs and investigate any irregularities.\nEnsure each store is following the correct operational routines, including delivery, replenishment and cash handling.\nPartner with each store manager and cash office responsible to coordinate annual inventories. \nPartner with the area HR manager to Identify future talent and formulate clear and challenging goals to assist with their development.\nTrain and develop store teams in staff planning, profit & loss and scheduling.\n Alignment to our company values is the most important characteristic we look for in all new joiners. Our values are part of who we are, what we stand for and how we act.\nWhat you need to succeed:\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and turn insights into actions.\nAbility to prioritize, plan, and organize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with teams across different countries and functions.\nClear and straightforward communication skills, both written and verbal.\nA commercial mindset with a strong focus on sales, profitability, and delivering customer value.\nAbility to take ownership, drive improvements, and identify new opportunities.\nStrong collaboration skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
