With a primary focus on Facilities Management and Construction spend, you support a retail portfolio of 240+ locations across the UK and Ireland, ensuring commercial value, effective supplier governance, and operational excellence.\nYou are a strategic and structured procurement professional with strong analytical ability, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of procurement processes and standards. Working closely with Facilities Management and Construction teams, you bring commercial expertise to complex contracts, pricing, supplier risk, and project delivery, while influencing cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring compliance with global guidelines. This is a specialist individual contributor role with no direct reports, responsible for building sustainable supplier partnerships that balance cost, quality, risk, and long-term business needs.\nSome of your responsibilities include:\nDevelop and execute the procurement strategy for the Sales Market in close collaboration with Global C&F Strategists and in line with the global C&F strategy and vision.\nSet and follow up on procurement goals and KPIs, ensuring strong supplier performance, effective governance, and continuous improvement.\nSecure an efficient C&F supplier base that enables expansion, FM service delivery, and project execution, while driving optimized investments, running costs, and operational efficiency.\nProvide commercial support and expertise across Facilities Management and Construction contracts, including contract portfolio management, supplier risk, pricing reviews, and cost optimization.\nReview, update, and draft procurement documentation in partnership with Legal, ensuring full alignment with global standards and correct implementation in the Sales Market.\nImplement and reinforce global procurement guidelines, ensuring the Sales Market stays fully compliant with the latest global requirements.\nSupport Sales Markets across the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, tenders, negotiations, contractor onboarding, and contract management, ensuring risk is managed and value is delivered.\nPartner closely with Facilities Management Contract Managers and Project Managers on budgets, forecasting, cost analysis, and commercial decision-making, providing challenge, insight, and assurance.\nSupport the governance and performance management of integrated FM providers, including performance frameworks, change control processes, and supplier development.\nPlan and secure project delivery capacity through a combination of internal and external resources, supporting the successful execution of the Facilities and Construction project pipeline.\nCollaborate closely with C&F teams and Legal within the Sales Market, as well as with the Global Procurement Strategist.\nLead or co-lead cross-market procurement activities initiated by Global Procurement Strategists, and support contract management for cross-market agreements.\nWHO YOU ARE \nWe welcome applicants who are:\nDegree in Business Administration, Law, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience.\nExperienced within Procurement, Facility Management, Construction, or the built environment.\nProven in setting up and implementing procurement strategies, with strong procurement, commercial, and negotiation skills.\nExperienced in managing complex contracts, commercial structures, and supplier relationships.\nStrong in financial and cost analysis, with the confidence to challenge suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive value and efficiency.\nExcellent in supplier management, governance, and performance management.\nAnalytical, strategic, and methodical in problem solving.\nExperienced in sourcing, tendering, contractor onboarding, and contract management.\nKnowledgeable in pass-through costs, managing agent arrangements, gain share mechanisms, and commercial contract models.\nFamiliar with Facilities Management service contracts, construction procurement, and project delivery environments.\nExperienced in energy procurement and working with external consultants and service providers.\nComfortable working across multiple stakeholders and seniority levels within an international organisation.\nExperienced in a multi-site retail environment or large property portfolio is highly advantageous.\nProficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI, and MS Teams.\nWHO WE ARE\nH&M Group is a global company of strong fashion brands and ventures.
