All applicants must be board certified or eligible in Cardiology, as well as eligible for Commonwealth of Massachusetts medical licensure. Level 3 training in echocardiography is preferred. An academic teaching appointment at the level of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School (HMS) will be commensurate with experience.\nResponsibilities will include outpatient consultations on the main campus of BIDMC and one of its nearby community sites, as well as attending on the cardiology inpatient services and the Cardiac Direct Access Center. The applicant is expected to be actively engaged in teaching fellows, residents medical students and nurse practitioners -in-training. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations.
