Our environment is based on respect and having a good day at work, so you can expect to join a knowledgeable, global team who help each other to succeed.\nDeliver expert technical leadership for HMH safety-critical topside and subsea drilling equipment worldwide, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operations across aftermarket services, automation and control systems.\nSolve complex service challenges in a fast-paced environment with customers, field teams and global specialists.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, analyze and evaluate projects to engineering, business, regulatory and product requirements.\nOwn automation projects from requirements and detailed engineering through software implementation and deployment, system testing, factory/site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), commissioning, startup and lifecycle support.\nPrepare service work packs, material lists and tooling requirements; assess maintenance and recertification inspection findings.\nDevelop technical solutions, repair plans and global inspection and repair procedures, using established or bespoke methods with internal and external specialists.\nImprove processes, tools and standards through lessons learned, technical/program reviews and knowledge sharing.\nPartner with customers, field service, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and project management to improve operational performance and asset reliability.\nCommunicate significant issues and developments promptly.\nRepresent Services in new product development and upgrades.\nSupport process and safety systems, HMIs, instrumentation, industrial networks and drilling controls offshore and onshore, including overseas assignments.\nDevelop condition-based service offerings using data analytics, condition monitoring and reliability engineering to maximize availability and optimize maintenance.\nResolve rig-critical, overhaul/repair and aftermarket performance issues through advanced troubleshooting, technical investigations, root cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.\nSkills/Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Control and Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university or college\nMinimum 3 years of relevant technical experience\nIn-depth knowledge of drilling equipment, specifically drill-through or Blow Out Preventer (BOP) equipment, topside equipment and associated mechanical systems\nFamiliar with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards for pressure control and drilling equipment\nRoot Cause Analysis experience\nAbility and willingness to travel to support customers\nAbility to work non-standard hours, as required\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills\nExcellent communication, organizational and presentation skills;
