The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.\nJob Responsibilities\nSolves complex problems\n\nDoes Mechanical Designs using 3D and 2D software's\n\nWorks independently; receives minimal guidance\n\nMay lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives\n\nActs as a resource for colleagues with less experience\n\nMay lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements\n\nTakes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information\n\nImpacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies\n\nPromote personal accountability for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) by adhering to the principles and guidelines outlined in HMH's HSSE governing policy\n\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of relevant experience)\nExperience: Minimum 3 years of relevant professional level experience as Engineer or Designer\nSkills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, 3D modeling, and technical drafting. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or AutoCAD. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, develop manufacturing documentation, and support production activities. Knowledge of GD&T, BOM management, and manufacturing processes.
