Exposure to complex & challenging projects within an international context.\n\nAs a Technical Operations Specialist, you will keep the datacenter and multi-site store infrastructure of our international enterprise client healthy, secure and available, day to day.\n\nYou will own monitoring, patching, backups, user and print support, certificate hygiene and first response on incidents across a Windows Server, Hyper-V cluster, Active Directory and internal PKI environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nDaily\nMonitor cluster, node and VM health (Failover Cluster Manager, iDRAC alerts, storage, CPU/RAM on session hosts).\nReview AD replication and domain controller health (repadmin, dcdiag), separating expected noise from real issues.\nMonitor business-critical application pools and cloud IoT connections to catch resource or port exhaustion before customers are impacted.\nConfirm overnight backups completed and investigate any failure the same day.\nTriage the IT queue: password resets, account changes, remote access, store printer and PIN pad issues.\nReview endpoint security alerts and act on detections.\n\nWeekly\nCheck PKI health: CRL validity on LDAP and HTTP CDPs, upcoming certificate expiries.\nReview store connectivity across site firewalls and site-to-site VPN tunnels.\nAudit RDS session hosts for stray local print queues and session issues.\nReview event logs for recurring Kerberos, NETLOGON or TCP/IP errors.\nUpdate the environment reference document and incident log.\n\nMonthly\nPatch Windows servers in a maintenance window, one cluster node and one DC at a time.\nUpdate Dell firmware and drivers via Lifecycle Controller, as approved.\nTest a restore from backup (a file, a VM, a SQL database in rotation).\nReview AD accounts: disabled users, stale computers, privileged group membership.\nReport on uptime, incidents, open tickets and certificate expiries.\n\nAs needed\nFirst response on incidents: diagnose, contain, escalate and write the post-incident note.\nRaise change requests with a rollback plan for any change touching production.\nOnboard and offboard staff and store sites.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n3+ years administering Windows Server (2019/2022/2025) in a production environment.\nHands-on Hyper-V experience, ideally with failover clustering, and Dell server management (iDRAC).\nSolid Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy skills; comfortable with repadmin, dcdiag and nltest.\nRemote Desktop Services: session hosts, logon scripts and printer management.\nPowerShell for day-to-day administration and simple automation.\nNetworking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, site-to-site VPN and firewall rules.\nIIS basics: sites, bindings, app pools and SSL certificates.\nDisciplined about change control, documentation and backups.\nExcellent written & spoken English communication; comfortable working directly with international stakeholders.\nWilling to be available round the clock as per business needs, including incident response outside regular hours.\n\nHow is success measured:\nServer patch compliance- All servers within 30 days of release\nBackup restore tests- One successful test per month\nTicket first response- Within 1 business hour\nDocumentation- Every incident and change recorded in the reference doc\n\nTech Stack/technologies:\nWindows Server 2019 / 2022 / 2025\nHyper-V and Failover Clustering\nDell server management (iDRAC, Lifecycle Controller)\nActive Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy\nInternal PKI / Certificate Services\nRemote Desktop Services (RDS) and print management\nPowerShell scripting and automation\nNetworking: TCP/IP, VLANs, site-to-site VPN, firewalls (Sophos preferred)\nIIS: sites, bindings, app pools, SSL certificates\nEndpoint security / EDR consoles\n\nJob role details:\nHybrid or Remote\nWorking hours: Available round the clock as per business needs, with overlap across the client's business hours\n\nBenefits:\nFlexible Working Style\nDiversity and Inclusion\nLearn And Grow\nBalanced Working Life\nFlexible work hours\nHealth Insurance\n\nEqual Opportunities Statement:\nHNR Tech is deeply committed to creating a workplace and global community where inclusion is not only valued but prioritized.
