You will work closely with subject matter experts to plan, develop and implement content. This role requires a strong communicator who understands how to convey messages across multiple formats and channels while simultaneously managing complex projects, competing priorities and stakeholder expectations. Success in this role requires demonstrated project management experience, attention to detail and the ability to lead initiatives from concept through execution while meeting deadlines and business objectives.\nHere are the key projects you can look forward to in this position:\nLead the development and production of HNTB publications, including THINK, Aviation Insight, Transportation Point, InTransit and SOLVE, working with technical experts, business leaders and contributors to develop compelling content that advances the firm's strategic priorities.\nLead the strategy and execution of HNTB's national trade media relations program, identifying opportunities to elevate the firm's thought leadership, technical expertise, projects and people through targeted media engagement and industry placements.\nManage HNTB's national industry awards program, overseeing award strategy, submission planning, cross-functional coordination and executive engagement to support recognition of the firm's projects, people and industry leadership.\nLead cross-functional communications projects from planning through execution, managing timelines, deliverables, stakeholder engagement and resources to ensure successful outcomes.\n• Manage multiple concurrent communications initiatives, coordinating subject matter experts, business leaders, agency partners and communications teammates to deliver high-quality work on schedule and in alignment with business objectives.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nStrategy Development: Develops and leads the communications strategy that are aligned with HNTB’s business goals and support HNTB’s brand messages.\nProgram Management: Implements programs that are part of HNTB’s strategy including working with a team to strategize HNTB’s involvement in industry associations, identifies and develops award submittals, manages HNTB’s publications, collaborates with team members to develop advertising, presentations, articles, social and web content and video.\nContent Creation: Develops engaging and informative content that is consistent with brand messaging for a variety of communications channels including internal, social and web platforms.\nEvent Management: Supports the development and logistics of various events, such as conferences, meetings, open houses, forums and other events.\nResults Reporting: Tracks communication programs effectiveness.\nList Management: Updates and maintain internal and external contact lists.\nBudget Management: Manages and develops communications budget for specific programs.\nMarket Research: Researches and implements current industry trends on communication approaches.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nWhat You’ll Need:\nBachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related fields and 8 years corporate communications or agency experience.\nIn lieu of education, 12 years of relevant experience\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nExcellent writing skills\nStrong interpersonal skills\nTeamwork/collaboration\nAdobe Creative Suite and SharePoint expertise\nGreat interpersonal skills\nHighly organized\nBe a self-starter who possesses creativity and can-do attitude\nStrong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in a timely manner\nWhat We Prefer:\nExperience leading corporate communications, public relations and thought leadership programs\nExperience managing complex communications projects involving multiple stakeholders, deadlines and deliverables\nExperience working with executive leaders, technical subject matter experts and cross-functional teams\nAdditional Information\nClick here for benefits information: HNTB Total Rewards\nClick here to learn more about Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran\nVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.#NF #MarketingSalesCommunications #LI-NF.\nLocations:\nKansas City, MO.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\nNOTICE TO THIRD-PARTY AGENCIES:\nHNTB does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or agencies.
