The Project Finance Associate supports the project finance team to ensure billing compliance with contractual documents.\nResponsibilities include coding project costs, such as subconsultant expenses, expense report receipts, and vendor invoices, with appropriate project accounting codes in accordance with standard procedures and contractual requirements to ensure proper entry into HNTB's project management system.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nAccurately updates the project management system by translating client and project workplan data based on contract and change order review.\nFacilitates the ability to access and charge to project tasks and phases in the project management system.\nEnsures project costs are properly coded and allocated by maintaining awareness of project status, and proactively determining the financial data updates in response to project changes.\nManages cost transfers to and from projects/tasks.\nSupports the project finance team in reviewing and approving project invoices, updating invoice requirements from contractual documents, verifying billed costs, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, including insurance certificates and adherence to client systems and formats.\nGenerates routine and ad hoc internal project financial performance reports for project and office teams.\nReviews and may provide financial approval of vendor/subconsultant invoices for accuracy and contractual compliance, including DBE and insurance certificate requirements.\nObtains necessary approvals and tracks internal workflow status for timely outcomes.\nPartners with the project team to develop and maintain client and subconsultant relationships and acts as a project liaison to field contract billing questions and/or provide receivables updates.\nMay assist or lead the subcontracting processes throughout the project lifecycle.\nSupports the proposal process, including gross margin analysis, cost proposal development, alignment with the project management system, and client proposal/estimate formats.\nPerforms other assigned duties.\nWhat You’ll Need:\nAssociate degree and 2 years of relevant work experience, or\nIn lieu of education, 4 years of relevant work experience\nAdditional Information\nClick here for benefits information: HNTB Total Rewards\nClick here to learn more about Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran\nVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.#DG #FinanceAccounting #LI-DG1.\nLocations:\nLos Angeles, CA (Figueroa Street).\nThe approximate pay range for Los Angeles Metro Area and Orange County, CA is $29.25 - $43.87.
