As a senior member of a growing data and technology team, you'll set technical direction, drive key architecture decisions, and mentor other engineers as the practice scales. You'll shape how we build and operate data infrastructure, define reusable tools and standards, and champion a culture of learning, transparency, and continuous improvement.\nSuccess in this role means delivering reliable, well-architected data systems that teams trust and understand, closing the gap between raw data and actionable insight, while driving measurable business impact and elevating the technical maturity of the broader team.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLeads end-to-end development of data engineering solutions for high-impact business problems.\nDefines data strategy, architecture, and deployment plans.\nCollaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into enterprise systems.\nProvides technical leadership and mentorship across the data engineering team.\nDrives innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies and methodologies.\nEnsures data governance, compliance, and performance optimization.\nCommunicates complex solutions and insights to executive stakeholders.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nWhat You'll Need:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field and 7 years of related experience, or,\nMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field and 6 years of related experience, or,\nIn lieu of education, 11 years of relevant experience.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProven, hands-on experience building and operating production data pipelines across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft/Azure, GCP), with deep expertise across orchestration, ETL/ELT, and the broader data stack, including object storage, lakehouse architectures, processing, and data governance.\nA track record of leading as a flexible generalist in a start-up or early-stage environment.
