Working on multiple scheduling projects as a project leader or project advisor within functional teams. Building and maintaining schedules for projects. Monitoring and reporting on status, analyzing schedules and associated changes for key risk areas and milestones impact. May mentor, direct, and oversee the work of earlier career staff.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nWorks on multiple scheduling projects as a project leader or project advisor within functional teams.\nDevelops and maintains sustainable Enterprise level scheduling processes and procedures.\nCreates complex scheduling models. Prepares and analyzes master project/program schedule.\nOversees a database or “warehouse” of scheduling data recorded and tracked from each job.\nParticipates in client presentations as required.\nParticipates in and coordinates with other project controls areas.\nParticipates in labor projections in support of department staff planning.\nSupports department growth by participating in business development and marketing efforts.\nProvides support, guidance, or subject matter expert services in RFP development to aid in pursuit development.\nProvides schedule support for claims analysis (e.g., using contractor claims, delay cost estimates, time impacts, etc.).\nServes as Subject Matter Expert in VE Studies.\nAnalyzes contract documents/construction documents (plans and specifications) to translate scope of work, milestones, contract time, and/or construction phasing and sequencing into the schedule.\nLeads the planning effort alongside Project Manager, collaborates and makes recommendations to project management team in planning the work, including developing Work-Breakdown Structure (WBS), estimating durations, and sequencing the work (hard restraints and soft restraints).\nIndependently develops new project schedules for complex projects using scheduling software. Maintains project schedule including progress updates. Communicates status of schedule and key risk areas to members of project management team.\nPerforms schedule risk analysis, including quantitative risk analysis.\nPerforms schedule analysis to include critical activities, risk areas, key milestones and significant changes to schedule. Develops “what if” scenarios to explore alternate sequencing in order to mitigate or avoid schedule delays. Revises forecasts and evaluates impact of delay.\nPrepares reporting from schedules including EVA analysis, integration of cost and schedule.\nPerforms contemporaneous schedule analysis.\nPerforms detailed review of contractor schedule submittals, including baseline and progress update\nQuality controls all scheduling deliverables prepared by support staff\nSupports the preparation of procurement documents related to scheduling specifications.\nMentors Schedulers I, II, and III if applicable and may serve as technical lead.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nWhat You’ll Need:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business and 9 years relevant experience, or\nIn lieu of education, 13 years relevant experience\nWhat We Prefer:\nAACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) or equivalent\nExperience preparing and/or reviewing project schedules using commercially available scheduling software\nExperience in 2 or more phases of project lifecycle (e.g., predesign, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction phases)\nExperience working as client's PM/CM agent (e.g., providing program management/construction management services), or as part of design-build contractor (or equivalent design and construction experience)\nAdditional Information\nClick here for benefits information: HNTB Total Rewards\nClick here to learn more about Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran\nVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.#AR #ProjectControls #LI-AR1.\nLocations:\nLos Angeles, CA (Figueroa Street).\nThe approximate pay range for Los Angeles Metro Area and Orange County, CA is $145,993.46 - $228,348.77.
