This is a hands-on, detail-driven role for someone who wants full-cycle exposure across the HR function.\nWhat You'll Do\nReview time cards for accuracy and timeliness, following up with managers and employees on discrepancies\nProcess new hire, pay change, and termination data accurately and on time for each pay cycle\nCompile and verify garnishments, PTO, and benefits deductions for payroll accuracy\nProcess employee change requests (direct deposit, tax withholding, address updates)\nRespond to employee payroll inquiries and research/resolve processing issues\nEnroll, term, and process changes for group insurance programs (medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), HRA, COBRA)\nMaintain the online 401(k) employee database and produce benefits reporting as needed\nManage workers' compensation claims from filing through resolution\nPost jobs, pre-screen candidates, and acknowledge resumes as part of the full hiring cycle\nDraft offer letters, prepare offer packets, and coordinate background checks and drug screenings\nLead New Hire Orientation, including benefits and policy overviews and completion of new hire paperwork\nMaintain accurate, audit-ready personnel files for all employees\nSupport schedule management for client site teams\nProduce general HR activity reports and support ad hoc HR projects\nWhat We're Looking For (Required)\nExperience in HR administration, payroll, or benefits coordination\nHands-on experience processing payroll and reviewing time card data\nExperience administering group benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), HRA, COBRA)\nExperience coordinating background checks, drug screenings, and new hire paperwork\nComfort working directly with employees on sensitive payroll/benefits inquiries\nStrong attention to detail and recordkeeping/audit discipline\nExperience with HRIS or online benefits enrollment platforms\nNice to Have\nExperience supporting workers' compensation claims administration\nExperience in a multi-site or client-services environment\nSHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR
