This includes maintaining Windows and Linux servers, assisting with virtualization platforms, supporting Microsoft 365 services, and helping manage Active Directory/Entra ID and backup systems. The role focuses on monitoring, incident response, routine maintenance, and documentation to ensure system stability, security, and performance across on-premise and cloud environments.\nMain Responsibilities\nServer & Infrastructure Operations\nPerform daily server health checks, monitoring alerts, and routine maintenance tasks.\nAssist in the administration of Windows and Linux servers.\nSupport virtualization environments such as VMware and/or Hyper-V.\nAssist in managing Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.\nSupport Active Directory and Entra ID administration, including user accounts, groups, device management, and policy checks.\nAssist with system patching, updates, and maintenance of configuration documentation.\nIncident Management & Troubleshooting\nProvide Level 1-2 support for server and infrastructure-related incidents.\nPerform initial diagnostics and troubleshooting before escalating to senior engineers.\nSupport incident resolution during outages and assist in documenting root cause findings.\nSecurity & Compliance Support\nAssist with OS patching, antivirus checks, and basic system hardening activities.\nSupport access management, file permissions, and audit log reviews.\nFollow established IT security policies and compliance standards.\nBackup, Recovery & Disaster Recovery\nMonitor backup jobs across systems (e.g., Rubrik, M365, OCI backups).\nAssist in test restores and data recovery validation.\nParticipate in disaster recovery testing and related exercises.\nCloud Operations (Azure & OCI Fundamentals)\nSupport basic operational tasks in cloud environments (Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).\nAssist with VM monitoring, storage checks, identity management, and resource tracking.\nHelp maintain cloud inventory documentation and operational runbooks.\nParticipate in training to build cloud administration skills.\nDocumentation & Continuous Improvement\nMaintain accurate system documentation, runbooks, and configuration records.\nSupport change management processes by tracking updates and operational changes.\nAssist with basic scripting tasks (PowerShell/Bash) to improve operational efficiency.\nParticipate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience\n1-3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, server administration, or cloud operations support.\nTechnical Skills\nBasic understanding of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.\nKnowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP concepts.\nFamiliarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.\nExposure to Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).\nFoundational knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).\nBasic understanding of system monitoring and troubleshooting.\nAdditional Skills (Preferred)\nITIL Foundation certification or willingness to obtain.\nBasic scripting skills (PowerShell or Bash).\nAzure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or OCI Foundations certification (or willingness to pursue).\nUnderstanding of backup systems and disaster recovery principles.\nStrong
