Where matters span time zones and teams work together to solve complex challenges.\nHogan Lovells Cadwalader is seeking an experienced Legal Recruitment Coordinator to support the full lifecycle of associate recruiting and talent initiatives for our Denver office. This role is a coordination and operations-focused position, ideal for a professional who already has experience supporting legal recruiting in a law firm or professional services environment and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven setting.\nThe Legal Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating legal (non-partner) recruitment activities for associates, judicial clerks, lateral attorneys, patent agents, and summer associates, while also supporting associate development, mentoring, and onsite programming in Denver. The role works closely with the Recruitment Manager, Western Region, Denver office leadership, and the broader U.S. Attorney Talent team. This position is based in the Denver office and requires strong organizational skills, polished communication, sound judgment, and confidence working within recruiting systems and established processes.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nRECRUITMENT COORDINATION & CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE\nOversee and troubleshoot all administrative and logistical aspects of legal recruiting, including application processing, interview scheduling, and follow-up.\n\nMaintain accurate candidate records and tracking throughout the recruiting process.\n\nCommunicate clearly and professionally with candidates, search firms, hiring managers, practice groups, and recruitment committee members.\n\nKeep all stakeholders informed of candidate status, interview outcomes, and next steps.\n\nTrack offers, follow-ups, additional interviews, and recruiting activity to ensure timely communication and a positive candidate experience.\n\nLAW SCHOOL RECRUITING SUPPORT\nCoordinate law student recruiting activities for assigned schools.\n\nServe as a key operational contact for law school career services offices.\n\nSupport on-campus interviews (OCI), job fairs, and recruiting events by managing logistics, interview schedules, and materials.\n\nPrepare interviewer materials, track follow-up activity, and provide status updates to school teams.\n\nEVENTS & SUMMER ASSOCIATE PROGRAM COORDINATION \nCoordinate recruiting events, including interviews, receptions, and networking programs.\n\nProvide logistical and administrative support for the Denver summer associate program, including:\nTracking assignments and evaluations\n\nPreparing mid-summer and end-of-program evaluation materials\n\nCoordinating communications, events, and social programming\n\nServing as a day-to-day point of contact for summer associates\n\nONBOARDING & OPERATIONS\nCoordinate onboarding for new associate and attorney hires, serving as the primary pre-arrival contact.\n\nPrepare onboarding documentation and support orientation in partnership with internal teams.\n\nManage candidate travel, reimbursements, and related expenses.\n\nSupport a smooth integration experience through organized follow-ups and ongoing coordination.\n\nSYSTEMS, REPORTING & OPERATIONS\nMaintain recruiting data, reports, school summaries, and class tracking with a high level of accuracy.\n\nAssist with recruiting metrics, survey tracking, and outcome reporting.\n\nPartner with IT and internal teams to support recruiting and onboarding systems (e.g., system access, training, troubleshooting).\n\nCoordinate vendor invoices and payments in collaboration with Finance.\n\nTrack compliance items and follow up as needed with relevant stakeholders.\n\nGENERAL\nStay current on firm recruiting policies and procedures and support implementation of updates.\n\nAssist with local recruiting budget tracking and expense coordination.\n\nSupport special projects and collaborate with recruiting colleagues across offices as needed.\n\nMentor and support junior coordinators, assistants, and interns.\n\nParticipate in firm-sponsored community and volunteer initiatives.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTwo (2) + years of experience in legal recruiting or campus recruiting coordination within a law firm or comparable professional services environment.\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage recruiting processes independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment\n\nBachelor’s degree strongly preferred.\n\nHands-on experience using law school recruiting platforms (e.g., Symplicity) and an applicant tracking system is required.\n\nStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.\n\nProfessional, service-oriented communication skills; ability to interact effectively with candidates, firm leadership, and external partners.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently within established processes.\n\nProven discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.\n\nPreferred Systems Experience: viRecruit, LawCruit, FloRecruit, and Workday\n\nWORK SCHEDULE\nCore hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., must be flexible to work overtime hours, as needed and during peak recruiting periods, particularly May through August. This position follows a hybrid schedule, with four days in the office and one day working remotely from home.\n\nIn Denver, the expected base salary range for this role is $61,000 to $67,000 per year.\nThis range reflects a good-faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, which may include annual discretionary bonuses.
