The individual in this role coordinates and/or undertakes the planning development, production and delivery of projects, as a member of the project design team or on their own projects. Assignments require independent action and decision making as well as the ability to supervise others.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES: \nDevelops, modifies, and reviews planning documents according to established standards.\nWorks on a full range of assignments in the delivery of all project phases and construction administration.\nDevelops, modifies and reviews master plan reports, construction documents and specifications. \nDevelops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards. \nIncorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.\nDisplays ability to create design concepts and expresses graphically.\nCompiles data and performs elementary design computations.\nPerforms benchmarking research on programming, comparable projects and images.\nAssures HOK document standards are met and archives documents appropriately. \nMay assist team in construction administration document management. \nReads and understands Agreements to Work within budget, schedule, work plan and client constraints.\nMay mentor and direct the work of intern staff. \nActively promotes collaborative and innovative culture.\nFosters a commitment to external and internal client service.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or architecture plus 8+ years’ experience required. \nMaster’s degree in landscape architecture or urban design may also be required.\nLEED credential required within 6 months of employment.\n#LI-HYBRID #LI-WK1 \nCompensation is based on experience, qualifications, education and location. The reasonably expected range for this position is $85,000 to $115,000. Other compensation may include a discretionary bonus.\n\nThis is a hybrid position that requires employees to come into our Midtown NYC office 3 days a week.
