This is a full-time, in-person position.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and manage MEP preconstruction activities, including estimating, design management, and subcontractor/vendor procurement.\nCommunicate with equipment vendors, design engineers, clients, subcontractors, and internal project stakeholders.\nPrepare comparative analyses of estimates and explain variances to project stakeholders.\nCoordinate teams of preconstruction engineers to develop complete scopes of work for MEP systems.\nAnalyze subcontractor and vendor bid proposals and provide recommendations for award, considering project risks and challenges.\nTrain and develop preconstruction engineers in technical and non-technical aspects of MEP systems.\nLead responses to RFPs and represent Holder at meetings and industry events.\nCreate, update, and present project deliverables and tools to clients.\nSupport meetings with owners, architects, and engineers during the preconstruction phase.\nQualifications\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field.\n10+ years of preconstruction experience specific to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems/power monitoring systems.\nAbility to read and understand electrical, HVAC, plumbing, architectural, and civil plans and specifications.\nFamiliarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of MEP systems and equipment.\nExperience leading a team of MEP Project Engineers or Estimators.\nOutstanding communication and time management skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively and adapt to change professionally.\nStrong organizational skills and effective meeting management.\nPreferred:\nProven ability to develop and lead teams, enabling others to act and encouraging high performance.\nExperience in presenting ideas clearly and handling confrontation constructively.\nWillingness to accept and provide constructive feedback.\nCommitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.\nAbility to engage with clients, vendors, and industry partners to maintain positive
