About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Operations team on our project in Columbus, OH. This is a full-time, in-person position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-site execution of construction projects in accordance with contract requirements, schedule, safety, quality, and budget expectations.
- Assign, coordinate, and oversee responsibilities of the project team, including trade-responsible engineers.
- Manage project financials, including monthly cost forecasting, owner billings, invoice review and approval, and subcontractor management.
- Collaborate closely with the field team to plan and execute project schedule, safety initiatives, and quality standards.
- Oversee project and project office setup to support efficient daily operations.
- Review, interpret, and apply construction design documents and specifications.
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues to support successful project outcomes.
- Lead by example by demonstrating integrity and mentoring junior team members in alignment with company culture.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field OR 3+ years of relevant construction experience.
- Experience and competency using construction management software for project collaboration, document control, RFIs, submittals, scheduling, financials, and field communication.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Preferred:
- Ability to relocate to projects as needed.
- Experience in on-site operations management for a general contractor
