This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied workload combining technical surveys, dilapidations, due diligence and engineering consultancy.\nThe role:\nYou will work closely with surveyors, project managers and technical specialists to provide expert M&E advice across a broad range of instructions.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nCarrying out M&E building and condition surveys\n\nPreparing reports for technical due diligence and acquisitions\n\nSupporting dilapidations assessments and settlement negotiations\n\nInspecting mechanical and electrical installations and advising on repair, reinstatement and lifecycle requirements\n\nUndertaking schedules of condition and pre-acquisition surveys\n\nAdvising clients on maintenance liabilities, compliance and asset performance\n\nWorking alongside our Building Surveying and Dilapidations teams on lease-end and refurbishment projects\n\nDeveloping client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional services\n\nYour profile:\nWe're interested in speaking with candidates who have:\nA degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering\n\nExperience carrying out building services surveys within the commercial property sector\n\nKnowledge of dilapidations, landlord & tenant matters or technical due diligence\n\nExperience preparing technical reports for clients\n\nStrong communication and client-facing skills\n\nChartered status (MCIBSE, MIET or equivalent) or ambition to achieve chartership\n\nOur preference is to recruit directly wherever possible.
