Our VT service provides independent expertise across lift and escalator design, project management, technical due diligence, maintenance monitoring, feasibility studies and asset performance advice across diverse commercial and residential sectors.\nIf you're looking for the opportunity to..\n· Help grow and shape a specialist consultancy service\n· Work alongside experienced lift and escalator industry colleagues\n· Develop lasting client relationships\n· Increase your visibility within the market\n· Continue to develop new skills\n· Be part of a team providing clients with tailored expertise to suit their property needs\nWhat you'll be doing:\n· Delivering specialist VT inspections and reporting\n· Advising on acquisitions, disposals and technical due diligence\n· Managing VT refurbishment and replacement projects from inception to completion\n· Advising on asset management, maintenance strategies and lifecycle planning\n· Reviewing designs, specifications and contractor proposals\n· Witness testing and overseeing commissioning\n· Collaborating with Engineering, Project Management, Building Surveying and Technical Due Diligence teams\nAbout you\nWe’re looking for someone with strong technical expertise, commercial awareness and a commitment to excellent client service.\nYou'll ideally have:\n· NVQ Level 3 or 4 in lift engineering, or equivalent recognised qualification.\n· At least five years’ experience within the lift or VT industry\n· Knowledge of lift modernisation, replacement and maintenance strategies\n· Knowledge of relevant legislation, British Standards and industry guidance requirements\n· Ability to assess equipment condition, maintenance standards, workmanship and compliance.\n· Strong communication and client-facing skills\n· The ability to work safely and independently within lift and escalator environments.\n· Ability to work independently and collaboratively\nOur preference is to recruit directly wherever possible.
