If you love solving puzzles and enjoy turning ideas into reality, this is the adventure for you!\nWhat you’ll be up to during your 10-12 week adventure:\nDive into 3D Mechanical CAD design and create 2D mechanical drawings (yes, you get to play with SolidWorks!)\nAnalyze, prototype, and test out mechanical concepts-using both traditional machining and cool 3D printing techniques\nHelp write technical reports and share your findings with the team (don’t worry, we love clear, straightforward communication)\nCollaborate with a team of engineers from all sorts of backgrounds-your ideas matter here!\nSupport lifecycle changes, including end-of-life replacements for our imaging equipment\nWho we’re hoping to meet:\nYou can work full-time during the spring co-op cycle (January - June/July).\nYou’re currently working on your Bachelor’s degree, with at least one semester left after the co-op.\nYour major is Mechanical Engineering, or something closely related.\nYou’re heading into your junior or senior year.\nYou know how to get your point across, whether you’re writing or speaking.\nYou’re a resourceful problem-solver who isn’t afraid to take initiative.\nYou have experience with 3D solid modeling design tools (SolidWorks and PDM Works, specifically).\nYou’re familiar with mechanical drafting principles and product design fundamentals.\nYou’ve tried your hand at 3D fabrication, machining, or sheet metal work.\nLocation, pay & other important details:\nYou can work onsite at our Marlborough, MA campus.
