In this role, you will troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams, and help maximize system performance and uptime.\nSummary of Duties and Responsibilities\nProvide technical support to internal and external customers, focusing on connectivity and interoperability within healthcare information systems.\nPerform investigations, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis using diagnostic tools and established processes.\nSupport product installations, software upgrades, configuration changes, and connectivity-related projects.\nDeliver responsive, high-quality support while maintaining a strong customer focus.\nTake ownership of escalated cases, provide regular status updates, and drive timely resolution.\nEscalate issues to subject matter experts and management as necessary.\nDocument case activity, investigation findings, actions taken, and resolutions within the CRM system.\nMaintain compliance with quality, regulatory, and documentation requirements.\nCollaborate with team members, customers, and field personnel to investigate and resolve issues.\nDispatch Field Service Engineers when onsite support is required and provide clear guidance regarding required actions.\nLeverage and contribute to the shared Knowledge Base to improve problem resolution and team effectiveness.\nBuild and maintain advanced knowledge of Hologic products, networking technologies, and interoperability standards.\nCommunicate product reliability concerns and recommend process improvements.\nParticipate in technical discussions and customer meetings as required.\nSupport the Quality Policy and adhere to all Quality System procedures, FDA regulations, and ISO requirements.\nQualifications\nRequired\nTechnical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience.\n2-4 years of experience in a technical support, IT support, or related technical role.\nExperience troubleshooting software, hardware, and network-related issues.\nKnowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and remote access technologies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently in a remote work environment while managing multiple priorities.\nPreferred\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience supporting healthcare information systems and medical device connectivity.\nKnowledge of DICOM, PACS, HL7, RIS/LIS, and related healthcare interoperability standards.\nExperience using diagnostic and remote support tools, including log analysis, ping, traceroute, and remote desktop applications. \nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and arms to perform computer and equipment-related tasks.\nAbility to occasionally lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.\nAbility to assemble and connect computer peripherals as needed.\nAdditional Information\nFlexible work schedule required to support customer and business needs.\nOccasional travel of up to 10% may be required.\nAdditional duties may be assigned as business needs dictate. \nWhy Hologic?\nAt Hologic, we are committed to making healthcare better through innovation, collaboration, and customer excellence. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
