This leadership role will drive modernization of Hologic's integration landscape, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable connectivity across critical enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and business processes.\nWhat To Expect\nThis is a hybrid role located in Marlborough MA\nAs Director, Integration & Middleware, you will define and execute Hologic's enterprise integration strategy while leading a high-performing team of integration professionals. You will partner across IT and business functions to deliver modern, API-driven solutions that accelerate digital transformation, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop and execute the enterprise integration and middleware strategy, standards, and multi-year roadmap.\nLead modernization initiatives, including API management, cloud-native integrations, event-driven architectures, and automation capabilities.\nOversee the design, development, implementation, and support of integrations across enterprise platforms and business applications.\nBuild, mentor, and lead a team of integration engineers, architects, and technical specialists.\nEstablish governance, best practices, and operational standards for integration architecture, security, monitoring, and support.\nPartner with business and IT leaders to deliver scalable integration solutions supporting strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and cloud transformations.\nCollaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure secure integration design, data protection, and regulatory compliance.\nManage vendor relationships, budgets, resource planning, and program delivery.\nDrive continuous improvement through operational excellence, performance metrics, and proactive service management.\nWhat We Expect\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.\n10+ years of experience in enterprise integration, middleware, APIs, application architecture, or platform engineering.\n5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.\nDemonstrated success defining enterprise integration strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks.\nStrong knowledge of integration technologies and patterns, including REST APIs, event-driven architectures, ETL/ELT, messaging systems, and cloud integration platforms.\nExperience with middleware or iPaaS solutions such as MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud, Azure Integration Services, AWS Integration Services, or similar technologies.\nExpertise in integration security, architecture governance, and enterprise-scale solution delivery.\nExperience working within regulated industries such as medical device, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting platforms such as Oracle ERP, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, ServiceNow, QMS, or enterprise data platforms.\nKnowledge of API management, microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native architectures, and observability practices.\nExperience with data governance, compliance, validation, and regulated system requirements.\nRelevant certifications in cloud technologies, integration platforms, architecture, cybersecurity, ITIL, Agile, or program management.\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is an opportunity to shape the future of enterprise integration at a global healthcare technology leader.
