As a Field Installation Project Manager, you will play a critical role in bringing these advanced imaging solutions to clinical sites, ensuring a smooth, well-coordinated process that supports both patient care and customer satisfaction.\nPosition Summary\nThe Field Installation Project Manager is the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the pre-installation and physical installation phases of digital mammography imaging products. This role coordinates all activities related to site planning, equipment delivery, and installation scheduling, ensuring an effortless, well-communicated experience for the customer and internal stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as the sole point of contact for the customer during pre-install and installation phases, working closely with Account Executives and FEs.\nSet up and participate in calls and customer meetings to support a seamless installation experience.\nReview site-planning information with the customer, ensuring all required information is provided, accurate, and approved.\nWork closely with FEs to obtain accurate site information and prepare for installation.\nNotify Sales (Account Executives) and Service Manager when site plans are complete; coordinate walk-throughs with FEs and the customer, including onsite walk-throughs when possible.\nConfirm customer applications for all product lines.\nMaintain the applications scheduling system for clarity and accuracy.\nAnalyze scheduling options and present alternative solutions that balance customer needs with the company’s best interests.\nContact IT/Connectivity resources and coordinate meetings or conference calls with the customer to ensure IT requirements are met upon equipment delivery.\nValidate customer-requested ship and delivery dates with install team members.\nValidate site readiness and communicate any schedule changes immediately to minimize impact to manufacturing and revenue recognition, notifying Account Executives and Sales Admin of outstanding items.\nProvide weekly reports and schedules (dates, status changes, demographic information, etc.).\nOversee installations and engage appropriate resources if problems or delays arise, notifying all relevant parties.\nProvide multiple sources of information to the customer to support a successful installation.\nReview existing Hologic equipment configurations prior to delivery of new equipment to ensure compatibility (hardware, software, connectivity). Procedure steps to be performed by territory CS.\nQualifications\nProven ability to establish, schedule, track, and communicate all activities related to the installation of digital mammography imaging products, including:\nPre-installation planning and equipment layout\nSite readiness\nEquipment delivery\nCoordination and communication of FE, Connectivity, and Applications activities\nStrong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.\nAbility to travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers, contractors, and Hologic service personnel (minimum travel expectation: 30%).\nTechnical aptitude and fundamental knowledge of mammography, particularly digital mammography, desired.\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with customers and internal teams.\nEducation\nCollege Degree in a technical discipline required.\nBachelor’s Degree preferred.\nExperience\n5+ years of experience in medical capital equipment site planning and installation coordination.\nSpecialized Knowledge\nUnderstanding of architecture as it applies to site planning in a capital equipment installation environment.\nBasic knowledge of standard drafting methods and practices.\nFundamental knowledge of electrical requirements and networking terminology.\nSkills\nExcellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to address critical customer issues in a sensitive yet effective manner.\nAbility to work with minimal supervision and to prioritize and execute complex scheduling tasks in a multi-tasking, interrupt-driven environment.\nAbility to interpret architectural/construction drawings, including:\n- General construction, - Electrical, - Mechanical, - HVAC, - Communications/networking\nAbility to schedule, track, and communicate multiple concurrent activities across multiple customer facilities.\nThe annualized base salary range for this role is $84,000 to $120,100 and is bonus eligible.
