Based in Munich, Southern Germany, or Austria, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a territory with a foundation and significant untapped potential. While Hologic has an established presence across both markets, there remains considerable opportunity to expand our footprint, win new business and deepen strategic partnerships with leading laboratory groups and healthcare organisations.\nWhat To Expect\nDrive sales growth, increase market share and further expand Hologic's Molecular Diagnostics presence across Austria and Switzerland.\nDevelop and execute strategic account and territory plans focused on growing existing business and securing new opportunities within private laboratory groups and hospital laboratories.\nBuild strong relationships with laboratory directors, clinicians, procurement teams, C-suite decision-makers and key opinion leaders.\nIdentify, pursue and convert new business opportunities to support the continued growth of the territory.\nLead complex sales processes, negotiations and contract discussions to achieve sustainable revenue growth.\nDeliver compelling commercial presentations and clearly communicate technical solutions to a broad range of stakeholders.\nAnalyse market trends, competitive activity and customer insights to identify opportunities and inform territory strategy.\nPartner closely with Applications, Technical Support, Marketing and other cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.\nManage a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring high levels of customer engagement and identifying opportunities for long-term growth.\nAct as a trusted ambassador for Hologic, promoting our brand, values and commitment to innovation in diagnostics.\nWhat We Expect\nA bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology or a related scientific discipline.\nProven success in medical devices, diagnostics, molecular diagnostics, life sciences or IVD sales.\nMolecular diagnostics experience, ideally within private laboratory groups, hospital laboratories or laboratory networks, would be highly advantageous.\nExperience managing complex sales cycles and influencing multiple stakeholders within laboratory or healthcare environments.\nStrong understanding of the healthcare landscape, laboratory workflows and reimbursement environment.\nPrevious exposure to the Austrian and/or Swiss healthcare, diagnostics or laboratory markets would be highly desirable.\nStrong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems and deliver sustainable business growth.\nExcellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.\nAbility to confidently communicate technical and scientific information to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nExperience using CRM systems and sales enablement tools to manage opportunities and account activities.\nFluent German and business-fluent English are essential.\nFrench or Italian language skills would be beneficial.\nAbility and willingness to travel extensively across Austria and Switzerland, with approximately 70-80% travel required.\nA valid driving licence is essential.\nWhy Hologic?\nJoin a global leader in women's health and molecular diagnostics, helping shape the future of laboratory diagnostics.\nJoin at an exciting stage of growth, building on Hologic's established presence while helping to unlock significant opportunities across Austria and Switzerland.\nMake a meaningful impact by helping laboratories improve efficiency, diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.\nSalary: €80,000-€95,000 gross pa base + commission (OTE €104,000-€123,500) based on target performance with opportunity to earn greater than OTE for those who exceed their targets.
