This role will focus on optimizing off-site storage costs, maximizing facility space utilization, and streamlining the Return to Vendor (RTV) process. The analyst will leverage data-driven insights, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain performance and support the company’s growth objectives.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nAnalyze inventory levels and storage patterns to identify opportunities to reduce off-site storage costs.\nDevelop and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize excess stock.\nAssess current warehouse layouts and storage practices and recommend and support space utilization improvements, including slotting optimization and racking adjustments.\nPartner with the Procurement team and vendors to improve shipping and delivery quantities to align with facility requirements.\nSupport projects to transition inventory from off-site storage back to the main facility.\nMonitor, track and streamline the Return to Vendor (RTV) workflow to ensure timely and accurate returns.\nIdentify and address bottlenecks in the RTV process and implement improvements to recover value from returned goods more efficiently.\nCoordinate with vendors, Customer Support and Finance to expedite RTV resolutions and minimize financial losses.\nMaintain and publish regular metrics on storage costs, space utilization and RTV performance.\nCommunicate with stakeholders regarding space optimization initiatives, storage strategies and RTV status.\nTrain and support team members on new procedures related to inventory optimization and RTV management.\nEnsure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Management System Regulation (QMSR), ISO standards and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).\nDemonstrate a strong commitment to the company’s core values, including integrity, respect, collaboration and innovation.\nActively contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, supporting colleagues and promoting a culture of mutual respect and teamwork.\nEngage in continuous improvement initiatives, striving for operational excellence and efficiency.\nPromote sustainable practices within the workplace, including waste reduction, recycling and energy conservation.\nParticipate, as applicable, in workshops, training sessions and other activities aimed at fostering a culture of continuous improvement and lean thinking.\nParticipate in regular training and complete all required training on time.\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty exceptionally. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills and/or abilities required:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and supply chain management systems, such as Oracle.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nStrong ownership mindset with the ability to follow through on commitments and take accountability for results.\nAbility to act with urgency, communicate proactively and keep stakeholders informed.\nDemonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with teammates, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.\nStrong customer focus with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and solutions.\nAbility to contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and recognizing individual and team accomplishments.\nEducation and experience requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, warehouse operations or inventory management.\nExperience with warehouse layout optimization, RTV processes and inventory analysis preferred.\nDOT Hazardous Materials training preferred.\nThe annualized base salary range for this role is $53,000 to $82,900 and is bonus eligible.
