This role will provide support for employee inquiries and assist in with HRIS-related projects to improve data management and workflow. Additionally, the HRIS Clerk will monitor integrations within applicable software connected the our HRIS to ensure accuracy, adding new divisions and organizational levels as needed.\nThe incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis:\nDemonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values;\nCollaborate with key internal/external resources; \nParticipate in ongoing self-development.\nEssential Functions\nModels, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission\nStays current on any applicable HRIS training materials in addition to scheduled updates\nEnters, updates, and maintains employee information in the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity\nAudits records regularly to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies\nSupports HR staff and employees with HRIS-related questions and troubleshooting\nAssists with system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new HRIS features\nMaintains confidentiality of employee information in compliance with company policies and data protection regulations\nCollaborates with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate employee data flow between systems\nWorks closely with other HRIS team members as the broader HR team to support the successful administration of the system\nDevelops user procedures, guidelines and training documentation as needed\nWorks safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures and standards\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nStrong computer and related software knowledge and/or experience including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel\nKnowledge of HR administration, processes, policies, procedures and compliance\nDemonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and deal effectively with employees and leadership\nExtensive oral and written communication skills to include formal presentation skills before small and large groups \nAbility to consistently demonstrate effective planning and coordination skills\nAbility to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems\nExceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills\nAbility to work independently as well as a part of a diversified team\nSound decision-making and judgment skills\nAbility to execute in a fast paced environment\nRequirements\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred \n3 years of related experience preferred\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNone\nTravel:\nUp to 10% travel, to include overnight stays, is to be expected \nValid driver’s license required\nPhysical Requirements:\nThis role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations\nThis role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines\nThis position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.\nOccasionally lifts and moves materials and equipment up to 30 lbs.\nWork Environment:\nWork primarily performed in a professional office environment\nFrequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions\n Disclaimer:\n\nPlease note that the above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
