This position ensures inventory accuracy, supports inventory optimization initiatives, manages vendor and stock ordering processes, maintains pricing integrity, and collaborates with branch operations, vendors, and parts personnel to achieve inventory performance objectives.\nThe incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily:\nDemonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; \nCollaborate with key internal/external resources; \nParticipate in ongoing self-development.\nEssential Functions\nModels, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission\nAnalyzes inventory performance and develops plans for the removal of obsolete, excess, and slow-moving stock while optimizing warehouse space utilization\nManages inventory requirements for marketing promotions and seasonal demand activities \nDevelops and delivers training for parts sales and branch personnel regarding inventory processes, ordering procedures, and inventory management best practices\nAnalyzes daily inventory reports and procure stock through appropriate ordering programs, vendors, and replenishment systems\nMonitors stocking levels and recommend adjustments based on demand trends, usage history, lead times, and constrained inventory conditions\nMaintain pricing accuracy for all product lines and follow up on vendor and supplier shipment schedules\nEvaluate inventory for consolidation opportunities, accuracy improvements, and reconciliation of surplus returns, credits, and vendor claims\nPrepare surplus return reports and supporting documentation for vendors and manufacturers\nCoordinates communications with branch locations regarding inventory programs, returns, and stock adjustments\nManages Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs, stocking overrides, additions, deletions, and modifications while providing recommendations to management\nIdentifies opportunities for bulk purchasing discounts and inventory cost reductions\nServes as a cross-functional backup for other Inventory Control Analysts and provide support across product lines as business needs require\nModels and promotes company values and leadership principles in daily interactions\nWorks safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies;
