Additionally, this position serves as local support for the yard operations team.\nThe incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.\nEssential Functions\nModels, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission\nWashes and cleans machines, worktools or other items as necessary to prepare for shipping, inspection, or repair. Using pressure washers, hoses and cleaning agents to remove dirt, grease, and other contaminants \nWaste disposal - ensures proper disposal of waste materials generated during the cleaning process; Maintains wash rack in alignment with environmental standards\nDocuments the condition of equipment before and after cleaning, noting any issues or repairs needed \nAssists with equipment demonstrations and loading and unloading of equipment \nCompletes and stays up to date on monthly safety trainings \nRequires regular and punctual employee attendance \nWorks safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards\nPerforms other duties as assigned to include serving as support for the yard operations team \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nGeneral knowledge of machines and their operations \nGeneral knowledge of pressure washer uses and maintenance \nFirst-class attention to detail\nExcellent oral and written communication skills \nExceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills\nQuality control analysis skills to evaluate cleanliness of assets \nEquipment selection skills - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to perform the job \nThe ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions\nThe ability to read, listen, and understand information and ideas presented in writing and spoken words or sentences\n\nRequirements\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\nOne or more years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is preferred\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNone\nTravel:\nSome overnight travel is required \nValid Driver’s License \nPhysical Requirements:\nThis position involves extended periods on their feet \nThis role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations\nConstant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina\nProlonged periods standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, crouching, and twisting\nFrequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. \nAscend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climb up and down ladders\nRoutinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work\n\nWork Environment:\nRegularly works outdoors around moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity\nNoise level may be loud at times\nExposure to small quantities of chemicals, steam, high-pressure water, and high speed rotating equipment\nRequires wearing proper protective and safety equipment (PPE) \nSignificant time spent in confined spaces and/or high places \nFrequently works at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions \n\nDisclaimer:\nPlease note that the above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
