This is not a numbers-only recruitment job: every person you bring in will be trusted in someone’s home. You will hire for values first, and help new starters feel part of the family from day one.\nYou will report to our Care Manager, working side by side with the scheduling and care team, with a monthly review with the owner.\nWhat you will do\nAttract\nPlan and run recruitment campaigns across Indeed, social media, our website and the local community\nHold recruitment events or drop-in session’s.\nBuild partnerships with colleges, job centres, community groups and local employers\nRun our employee referral scheme and grow a pool of ready-to-hire candidates\nTell our story as an employer: real people, real reasons they love the work\nSelect\nRespond to every applicant within 24 hours and keep candidates warm through the process\nScreen, interview and assess candidates for values, compassion and reliability\nComplete all safer-recruitment checks: Enhanced DBS, references, right to work and full employment history\nKeep recruitment records CQC-inspection ready at all times\nWelcome and retain\nCoordinate onboarding and induction with our Care Manager and training lead\nCheck in with every new starter during their first 12 weeks\nHelp match Care Professionals with clients\nHave informal check-ins with existing Care Professionals to understand what they enjoy about their job, any concerns they have, and what would help them stay with the organization. Conduct exit interviews, and share what you learn\nMeasure\nTrack applications, time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, 90-day retention and net headcount growth\nReport monthly to the management team and suggest improvements\nWhat success looks like in year one\nNet growth of 4 Care Professionals per month, after leavers\nTime from application to first shift under 21 days\nAt least 85% of new starters still with us after 90 days\nCompliance files that pass every audit first time\nHit these and the team grows fast: once we reach 40 Care Professionals, the role becomes full-time.\n About you\nEssential\nExperience of end-to-end recruitment, ideally high-volume or in health and social care\nWorking knowledge of safer recruitment: DBS, references and right to work\nConfident on social media and digital job boards\nWarm, persuasive communicator, in person and on the phone\nOrganised, data-minded and able to juggle priorities\nFull UK driving licence and access to a car\nDesirable\nExperience in domiciliary care or of CQC standards\nExperience with an applicant tracking system such as Smart Recruiter\nBirdie\nLocal knowledge of Colchester and North Essex\n If you have a passion for caring and the motivation to help us achieve our ambitions, we would love to hear from you.\nWe encourage applications from all sections of the community as we want to reflect the neighbourhoods in which we work.
