We always try to \"do the loving thing\" in how we work together and with our customers and partners.\nTHE ROLE\nThis is a mixed Software Engineering and Infrastructure role at the intersection of AI and data security. As we expand MIRA across the entire loan file, our hardest challenges shift from model building to the infrastructure needed to securely develop, test and run AI systems. You'll drive that infrastructure. It's a backend engineering role where you will work in application code as well as in Terraform/AWS with a security-first mindset.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nPlan, design, and build\nSecure infrastructure for AI-assisted development and testing\n\nData-access security across the platform\n\nCross-cutting application features\n\nYou will manage your own projects, communicating designs, plans, and status updates proactively. We work in Go, Python, and TypeScript with a focus on reliability and observability.\nWHAT YOU'LL BRING\nStrong backend software engineering experience\nA security-first mindset: you naturally consider data access and potential leak vectors for every process, person, and agent.\nGenuine interest in AI/LLM systems and the infrastructure that makes them safe and reliable to build on\nExperience and/or a strong interest in working at the infrastructure level with Terraform, AWS, GCP etc\nThe ability to take an ambiguous, hard problem from design doc to production\nStrong verbal and written communication in English\nBONUS POINTS\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and observability tooling (e.g. Datadog)\nExperience designing infrastructure on AWS -
