The role requires considerable analytical and technical skills, and the ability to effectively describe those processes to leadership. The individual will work cross-functionally with business partners from Supply Chain, Product Management, IT, Finance, Operations, and Merchandising to translate operational processes and business questions into rule-based analytics.\n Key Responsibilities:\n50% Design, implement and measure pricing actions to understand the trade-off between units, sales and gross margin. Utilize learnings to help merchants reach financial objectives\n20% Conduct research to become subject matter expert on a specific segment of pricing and statistical analysis\n10% Work across the organization and leverage cross functional teams to provide expert analytical support (i.e. domestic logistics or global supply chain costs\n20% Develop and deliver influential presentations that summarize complex analyses and drive effective business decisions\nDirect Manager/Direct Reports:\nThis position reports to Manager.\nThis position has 0 direct reports.\nTravel Requirements:\nTypically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMost of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMust be eighteen years of age or older.\nMust be legally permitted to work in the United States.\n Preferred Qualifications:\n4+ yrs business experience preferred\n\nProficiency in findings insights using SQL (or Python) against large datasets\n\nExpertise in developing reporting using BI tools like Tableau or Looker\n\nExperience working in large data warehouse environments (preferably Google BigQuery)\n\nExperience with Github and VS Code\n\nMastery utilizing statistical techniques to identify key insights that help solve business problems\n\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams\n\nAbility to translate business requirements into analytical frameworks\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy\nUnderstanding of how data schema impacts metric behavior and reporting\nAbility to design scalable data architectures
