This position also demands diligence about tracking service delivery and financial KPI’s. The Area General Manager is expected to meet company goals by providing clear direction and setting a positive example for attitude, professionalism, and work ethic. The successful candidate must be able to formulate, articulate, and lead strategic and tactical efforts to drive efficiencies and profitability within a highly competitive HVAC market.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide leadership, guidance, and support to District personnel focused on customer satisfaction, growing the policy base and meeting overall revenue and profit growth goals\nManage essential operational support functions including Inventory Management, Fleet Management, and Safety practices.\nEnsure compliance with company’s policies\nDevelop and maintains a culture of performance management and accountability\nDemonstrated leadership and management skills in a team-oriented, collaborative environment\nAbility to build and maintain a high performing team through recruiting, training, coaching and development activities\nProven ability to significantly contribute toward or lead operations initiatives with a results-oriented approach\nAbility to formulate and implement a sound business plan to reach targeted service delivery, revenue and net profit goals\nExperience with budget preparation and fiscal management\nAd-hoc responsibilities as assigned\nJob Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in business, or related field, or equivalent experience\nMBA or master’s degree a plus\nMinimum of 4-6 years general management experience managing a service delivery organization\nExperience with leading a union workforce preferred\nStrong analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills\nWell organized, detail oriented with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent tasks \nCompetency in MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook\nAbility to analyze and interpret data and prepare reports\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written\nStrong work ethic and willingness to take ownership\nExceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills\nAbility to balance multiple tasks and changing practices\nAbility to work independently\nTravel up to 50% as needed\nStarting base salary range: $130,242.36 - 173,656.48\nAnnual Bonus Potential: 20%\nMinimum Physical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
