We know that having diverse teams has a positive impact on our work and ultimately helps us better serve our customers.\nNo matter your role at HomeServe, you’re part of a growing team that’s working to make home repairs and improvements easy.\nPosition Overview:\nThe HVAC Installer is responsible for the installation of HVAC comfort or process systems, utilizing knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.\nResponsibilities:\nResponsible for installing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.\nPerforms installation, troubleshooting and start-ups of HVAC systems.\nUses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to install complete operational systems.\nInstalls systems and products at customer's location.\nPrepares for on-site installation by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and performing on-site work.\nInspects and maintain vehicle by checking vehicle condition and completing repairs and maintenance service.\nMaintains tools and equipment by inspecting for signs of wear.\nDocuments work by completing paperwork on each job\nRepresents Company by serving as a direct customer contact.\nDetermines parts to order for installation and timeliness of need.\nKeeps current all major products concerning installation, operation and application\nProvides technical support to customers.\nRegular travel requirements\nFlexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.\nJob Requirements:\nHigh School graduate or its equivalent\n3 years minimum experience at installing HVAC systems\nMust have experience with installing high and low voltage wiring\nMust be proficient in piping work, brazing, threading.\nMinimum Physical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
