We’d love to talk.\nWho you are\nHometap is hiring a Contract Recruiting Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our recruiting team. You’ll schedule interviews and recruiting meetings, source candidates and build pipelines for our recruiters, keep our applicant tracking system accurate, complete reference checks, and support new-hire onboarding. \nCandidate experience sits at the center of the role, and you’ll have room to contribute to processes and projects across the full recruiting lifecycle. This is a great role for someone with some coordination or sourcing experience who is fast and accurate, communicates well with candidates and hiring teams, and wants to grow a career in recruiting.\nHometap is remote-first with a Boston-based presence. This is a contract position with full time working hours (9am-5pm ET).\nWhat you’ll do\nRecruiting coordination\nManage interview schedules for candidates and hiring teams, utilizing an AI-assisted scheduling system \nCommunicate interview logistics and expectations to candidates and interviewers\nBuild and maintain candidate portals with accurate and informative information\nSchedule key internal recruiting meetings, including intakes, kickoffs, and debriefs\nKeep candidates informed with regular updates and prompt answers to their questions\nCandidate sourcing\nSource candidates for open roles using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and AI-assisted tools such as Juicebox\nMaintain an organized CRM of current and prospective candidates\nBuild passive pipelines for Hometap’s evergreen roles\nPartner with hiring managers and recruiters to understand ideal candidate profiles\nDraft sourcing messages and research creative ways to reach and attract talent\nRecruiting operations\nManage our applicant tracking system (ATS): post jobs, run key reports, and keep data clean\nBuild and maintain processes that keep recruiting data accurate and the candidate experience consistent\nAssist with the onboarding, configuration, and maintenance of current and new recruiting tools\nReference checks and onboarding\nComplete reference checks for candidates at the offer stage\nServe as the main point of contact for new hires during onboarding, tracking task completion and answering questions\nSchedule onboarding meetings and events\nCoordinate with IT to get tech set up for new hires\nWhat you bring\n2-4 years of experience in recruiting coordination and/or sourcing, ideally at a high-growth company\nExperience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools\nFamiliarity with applicant tracking systems or HRIS platforms, with Greenhouse experience preferred\nOrganizational skills to manage multiple schedules, priorities, and requests at once\nClear, professional written and verbal communication with candidates, hiring managers, and senior stakeholders\nComfort with data entry, reporting, and using spreadsheets to track and analyze information\nStrong attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems\nCuriosity that shows up in good questions and a willingness to raise flags when something looks off\nWillingness to learn new systems and tools quickly; experience with AI-assisted scheduling tools such as Goodtime or Guide is a plus\nThe expected compensation for this role is $50/hour, depending on your experience, skills, location, and other factors.
