You'll manage projects efficiently, achieve timely execution, and ensure seamless client handovers with zero callbacks. Your responsibilities include performing service and maintenance tasks, troubleshooting electrical and plumbing issues, and maintaining clear communication with project coordinators. You will also adhere to health and safety requirements and complete necessary documentation, contributing to a positive team environment and upholding the company’s standards.\nResponsibilities:\nProject Management & Installations: Perform installation and maintenance tasks (e.g., underfloor heating, radiator installations, pipework, heat pump services) to expected standards and speed, following method statements and relevant standards.\n\nMaintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and thorough inspections on existing heat pump systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity, identifying any potential issues early on.\n\nTroubleshooting: Effectively troubleshoot basic issues that arise in heat pump systems, providing well-considered recommendations for repairs and enhancements.\n\nRecord Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all service work and inspections performed, ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing a reliable reference for future maintenance.\n\nSafety Protocols: Diligently follow established safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.\n\nCustomer Service: Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing their concerns promptly, and ensuring their satisfaction with the services provided.\n\nProject Management: Successfully manage projects by planning and coordinating activities to ensure timely execution, while meeting established milestones and deadlines.\n\nFault Finding & Repair: Conduct comprehensive fault finding and repairs for both electrical and plumbing issues related to heat pump systems, ensuring all work meets regulatory standards.\n\nClient Handover: Achieve a successful set-to-run handover to clients, ensuring they are fully informed and confident in the operation of their new systems, with a goal of zero callbacks or complaints.\n\nCoordination: Collaborate closely with the project coordinator to align on timescales and ensure the timely procurement of necessary parts and materials.\n\nCommunication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the project coordinator throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and addressing any emerging issues promptly.\n\nHealth & Safety Management: Manage your health and safety requirements diligently, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and contributing to a culture of safety within the team.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\nExperience: Previous experience of installing heat pump heating systems in domestic properties\n\nProblem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n\nTeam Player: Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.\n\nSafety Commitment: Adhere to safe working practices.\n\nPositive Attitude: Display enthusiasm and a positive mental attitude.\n\nFlexibility: Exhibit patience and a proactive approach.\n\nQualifications:\nMinimum of Level 2 Plumbing, Heating or Heat Pump qualification from a recognised awarding body (i.e. City & Guilds, SVQ etc.)\n\nRelevant Certificates: Completion of Heat Pump manufacturer installation courses\nNational Certification for Unvented Hot Water Systems: G3 (unvented cylinder) qualification OR proven experience\n\nWater Regs WRAS Qualifications\n\nCSCS or Similar H&S Qualification: Holding a CSCS card or equivalent health and safety qualification, indicating knowledge of site safety protocols.\n\nExtra Credit:\nBPEC (or equivalent) GSHP or ASHP qualification.\nLow Temperature Heating Systems qualification\nPart P\nF-Gas Certification Training: Completion of training programs that provide essential skills and knowledge for working with refrigeration systems and handling refrigerants safely.\n\nGas Safety Registration (if applicable, e.g., Gas Safe Register)\n\nOur Recruitment Process:\nInitial Call: Start with an introductory call with our Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to discuss the role and your potential fit.
