We're licensed in the US, Canada, the EU, and key African markets.\nOur values: Agency | Work ethic | Sense of urgency | Attention to detail | Curiosity\n\nRole Details\n\nRole Purpose\n The Associate Product Manager is a junior Product Manager who works closely with the Product Lead to\nbring HoneyCoin's products to life by owning specific features and the execution work behind them.\nThe role sits at the centre of the build cycle: turning direction into clear specs, keeping delivery moving,\nwatching how shipped work performs, and feeding in the research that shapes what comes next.\nThis is a hands-on craft role built to grow product management fundamentals quickly, with more ownership\nas the Associate Product Manager proves themselves. The role supports product health, delivery, and\nmarket research.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Execution and Delivery\n  Turn the Product Lead's direction into clear specs / PRDs with acceptance criteria for assigned features.\n Write user stories, manage tickets, and keep your part of the backlog organised.\n Work day-to-day with engineering and design, clarifying requirements, unblocking, coordinating QA, and\nsupporting launch.\n Take part in sprint ceremonies including planning, check-ins, and retros.\n2. Product Health and Quality\n  Monitor metrics and dashboards for your features; flag bugs, drop-offs, and quality issues early.\n Triage incoming bugs and small enhancement requests.\n Keep release notes and product documentation up to date.HoneyCoin | Associate Product Manager\n3. Discovery and Market Insight\n Run discovery tasks including user interviews, support-feedback synthesis, and lightweight usability\nchecks.\n Track competitors, market shifts, and relevant regulatory changes, and propose feature updates for the\nProduct Lead to prioritise.\n4. Collaboration and Communication\n  Partner with engineering, design, customer success, and compliance to gather requirements and keep\neveryone aligned.\n Share clear, regular updates on feature status and performance.\n5. Learning and Growth\n Build deep domain knowledge in payments / fintech, including rails, mobile money, and stablecoins.\n Take on more scope and ownership over time as your judgement and track record grow.\nCandidate Profile\nRequired Skills- Quantitative Skills\n  Product analytics and data literacy: Can pull and interpret product metrics such as funnels, adoption,\nretention, and transaction success to read product health and guide feature decisions.\n Market and competitive analysis: Can benchmark competitors and the market with data, and turn this\ninto concrete feature recommendations.\nQualitative Skills\n  User discovery and product judgement: Runs user conversations, synthesises feedback, and makes\nsensible feature-level calls.\n AI curiosity: Actively explores AI tools and capabilities, experiments with them to improve products and\ntheir own workflow, and stays current on how AI can be applied to payments / fintech.\nExample KPIs\n  Quality and timeliness of specs / PRDs and acceptance criteria for assigned features.\n Backlog organisation and ticket clarity for assigned product areas.\n Timely coordination with engineering and design on requirements, QA, and launch support.\n Quality of product health monitoring, including early flagging of bugs, drop-offs, and quality issues.\n Timeliness and accuracy of release notes and product
