develop containerized microservices and distributed platform components.\nImplement well-defined service interfaces, APIs, contracts, and reusable abstractions.\nDevelop event-driven services using RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies and asynchronous processing patterns.\nBuild services interacting with relational databases, time-series data stores, caching technologies, and file/object storage.\nImplement reliable service-to-service communication, error handling, retry, and integration patterns.\nTroubleshoot issues across distributed services and their dependencies.\nDevelop software that can support deployment across Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, and Cognition environments.\nContribute to a common platform codebase while maintaining appropriate separation between common functionality and provider-specific implementations.\nApply abstraction and adapter patterns where needed to minimize unnecessary cloud-provider dependencies.\nDevelop software capable of operating in Cognition edge/appliance environments, including deployments with limited or restricted connectivity.\nBuild platform components with appropriate consideration for CPU, memory, storage, and network utilization.\nDevelop and support services deployed in Kubernetes-based environments.\nContribute to installation, configuration, upgrade, and lifecycle-management capabilities for platform services.\nFollow engineering and security requirements associated with regulated, restricted-connectivity, or air-gapped deployments.\nEngineering & Collaboration Expectations\nTake ownership of assigned features, services, and technical problems with limited supervision.\nTranslate technical designs and requirements into high-quality working software.\nParticipate constructively in architecture and design discussions.\nProvide thoughtful code reviews and help maintain engineering standards.\nCollaborate effectively with technical leads, architects, Product Owners, SRE, cybersecurity, QA, and application teams.\nIdentify technical risks, dependencies, maintainability concerns, and integration issues early.\nDiagnose technical issues spanning applications, services, messaging, databases, Kubernetes, and infrastructure.\nContribute to technical investigations and proof-of-concepts for new technologies or platform capabilities.\nCore Technical Qualifications\nThe ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience with most of the following:\nModern full-stack application development\nWeb application architecture and modern frontend engineering\nRESTful APIs and backend service development\n.NET and C# development\nMicroservices and distributed-system concepts\nEvent-driven architecture and asynchronous processing\nRabbitMQ or comparable enterprise messaging technology\nSQL and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL or comparable platforms\nCaching technologies such as Redis\nData-processing and persistence concepts\nAuthentication, authorization, and secure API design\nAutomated unit, API, component, and integration testing\nObservability, structured logging, and production troubleshooting\nGit-based development, branching,
