You will develop innovative test solutions for Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), Printed Board Assemblies (PBAs), subassemblies, and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).\nIn this role, you will collaborate closely with Systems, Hardware, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, and Test Engineering teams to ensure robust, cost-effective, and scalable test solutions throughout the product lifecycle.\nYou will report directly to our Senior Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.\nDesign and develop test hardware for engineering development, qualification and production environments.\nDevelop schematic designs and support PCB layout activities.\nDefine test architectures for digital, analog, power, FPGA, and mixed-signal products.\nSupport board bring-up, verification, validation, and troubleshooting activities.\nDrive Design for Testability (DFT) requirements into product development.\nSupport Automated Test Equipment (ATE) integration and deployment.\nCollaborate with manufacturing and repair organizations to improve fault isolation and test coverage.\nParticipate in technical reviews, root-cause investigations, and corrective action activities.\nLead test hardware efforts across multiple concurrent development programs.\nMentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.\n YOU MUST HAVE\nExtensive experience in advanced hardware design and development for aerospace or related industries\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics\nStrong knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware validation techniques\nProficiency with hardware simulation and analysis tools to optimize design performance\nExperience with aerospace industry standards and compliance requirements\nAbility to lead complex hardware projects from concept through production\nExperience designing electronic circuits and developing hardware verification solutions\nWE VALUE\n7+ years of experience in hardware engineering with a focus on aerospace or high-reliability systems\nStrong problem-solving skills and innovative mindset\nExperience mentoring and leading engineering teams\nFamiliarity with emerging hardware technologies and industry trends\nExperience designing test equipment for avionic, aerospace, defense, or safety-critical products.\nExperience supporting qualifications and environmental testing.\nU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENT\nDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.\nBENEFITS\nBeyond a performance-driven salary, you'll work alongside dedicated experts on technology that's advancing aviation.
