Your experience in RF engineering will be instrumental in shaping the future of aerospace technology.\nYou will report directly to our Director of Engineering, working out of Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.\nNew hires are expected to report 100% onsite M-F for the first 90 days of employment.\nIn this role, you will impact the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions that support Honeywell’s aerospace initiatives, helping to drive innovation and maintain our leadership in the industry.\n Develop and maintain the RFIO interface layer between digital (FPGA/software) and RF subsystems.\nDesign, develop, and optimize RF circuits, subsystems, and antenna systems for aerospace applications.\nPerform RF system analysis, simulation, and testing to ensure compliance with performance and regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF solutions into avionics and electronic systems\nExperience with FPGA or embedded software interfacing to RF hardware\nStrong debugging and integration skills across hardware and software domain\nDrive customer engagement while delivering programs on schedule, within scope, and on budget.\nMentor engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship on critical technology projects.\n YOU MUST HAVE\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical discipline such as Electronics and Electrical Engineering.\n6 years of experience in RF engineering, preferably in aerospace or related industries\nWE VALUE\nStrong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Assembly.\nExcellent/familiar with python to develop test scripts to run test equipment and evaluate how the RF software, Firmware, and RF hardware interact at the “system level”\nUnderstand software development process (requirements, traceability, verification and validation - ideal if familiar with DO-178B).\nStrong expertise in RF circuit design, antenna theory, and electromagnetic simulation tools\nProficiency with RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators, along with experience in RF system integration and troubleshooting\nKnowledge of aerospace standards and regulatory requirements related to RF systems and electromagnetic compatibility\nAdvanced degrees in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related fields\nExperience with high-frequency PCB design and microwave engineering\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\nFamiliar with lab test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer)\nExcellent debugging skills and strategies which require interacting and monitoring hardware.\nDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL AEROSPACE\nBeyond a performance-driven salary, you'll work alongside dedicated experts on technology that's advancing aviation.
